What do you look for in a restaurant? Food, yes of course. The interior and setting, yes its always nice to go somewhere that is comfortable. Service, definitely and this review is about the service. I want readers to understand, that this place is not our default setting for eating out, generally its Leigh House, followed by The Last Viceroy.... More

We had a wonderful New Years Eve at the villa, yet again a nicely decorated table. A set menu with plenty of choice for every type of diner and dietary requirements The staff welcoming and enjoying getting all into the party mood Lots of fiz and party poppers to see the new year in followed by DJ getting everyone up... It was my first time. It was a lunch with a birthday party. The staff were friendly & hospitable. The Xmas menu looks attractive & inviting. 3 courses - £25.50 and 2 courses £19.50. I ordered 'Porchetta alla Romana' - thin slices of Roasted Italian pork loin in mixed herbs, borlotti beans & touch of black bean sauce. This was... More

What a load of tosh that 'Abdul' wrote. I eat at this restaurant a fair bit and its great. You just cannot find traditional 'old style' Italian restaurants like this anymore. The service and the food its just great and I highly recommend you try this place, thats of course if you can get a table!!

I used this restaurant to host a business lunch based on some of the reviews I read. Unfortunately, my overall experience was well below my expectations. The staff are welcoming and hospitable. However, when it came to serving the wine or clearing away the dishes, there was an element of sloppiness which for me was somewhat embarrassing in front of... More

Easily accessable, with a large car park opposite, this authentic Italian restaurant has just celebrated 29 years in Marlow. The long-serving staff are always welcoming and the food is excellent value. This time, we had four courses, offered at £25.50 including coffee, and we had glasses of their red Chianti and Nero D'Avola rose. Generous helpings of vegetables are supplied... More

Stayed in Maidenhead for the weekend. This restaurant was recommended to us. Car parking was available across the road. When entering into the restaurant, we were greeted with a fabulous atmosphere of friendly staff and a full restaurant - with people waiting. We had booked so we sat down straight away. After browsing the menu and looking at other meals... More

27/11/2014; we had lunch for four yesterday. The quality of the food was OK but not special. The sea bass and its sauce was ordinary. The Chicken Liver and Mushroom was such a huge portion as to be off-putting - with no thought for attractive presentation. The wine card is a touch on the expensive side. The staff were mainly... This is one of my favourite restaurants and i have been coming here for years. One of the reasons is the staff. They are so friendly, charming and always attentive. Its great going there knowing you are going to get great service and superb food. Fabio, the owner, is a true gentleman and Francesco is so charming, funny and full... More

Great value £14 2-course lunch served by welcoming and efficient staff. The starters were huge and the mains of excellent quality - the sea bass in particular was superb. Don't be put off by the fact that this place is a throw back from 30 years ago, the style, the smoked mirrors and the music are all fresh off of... More
