If you've not been there - give it a try.

One of my favourite Sunday lunch restaurants. Lovely old building with a cosy layout. Good service, excellent food and reasonable prices.

We've been for lunch and we were in 3 eating. The service was really fast and polite. We ate hamburgers and fish'n chips, everything was very nice and well done. Prices could be a bit high for lunch but the place is cool so it's ok

A very welcoming restaurant and pub - good food, good wine and reasonably priced. we booked on a Friday night, but the place was very quiet which surprised us - although it is a little out of the way.

My partner and I spent a lovely sunny Saturday at 'The Hare' last month and we had a wonderful day. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and the food was outstanding. We didn't have to move from the sunshine all afternoon, the food was served at the perfect time and it was delicious! We would both highly recommend and... More

I live close to the Hare Resturant,so decided to walk So children got out the bikes and we walked there for an evening drink intending to buy supper, we were not made welcome at all, we sat in the garden. The land lord made unwelcome comments! and there was discarded chicken on the ground, someones unwanted lunch I presume. the... More

I had been in the area previously and remembered this place as a good stop off between London and the Cotswolds. Arrived 12:30 Friday, had booked, but was not very busy so found nice table outside. Took some time until our order was taken and further until food and drink arrived (apple juice for child arrived as fizzy even though... More

Went for dinner there with my husband, we were not even greeted by any of the staff, it seemed like we were inconveniencing them, finally sat down ordered, the staff remained unfriendly, we ended up paying and leaving before we finished our meal.

This has to be one of the best restaurants that I have visited, and I’m quite fussy when it comes to eating out. It has good selection of dishes to choose from. It is situated in stunning open countryside. It has a tasteful modern decor throughout the restaurant and bar area. A good choice of back ground music playing, at... More

I realised the standard of The Hare would not be as fine as it was in bygone years when it had 2 Michelin Stars, but the disappointment I felt last night, justifies spending time writing this review. In one word, the experience was totally APPALLING, and I am so annoyed that we spent my sons birthday, on a precious occasion all... More
