Great food but very overpriced

I enjoyed my food here, we had a starter each and a meal each and both had a drink. The total came to £65 which I thought was ridiculous for what we'd eaten; it was nice but not up to the standard of the money they were asking for. I don't think I will visit here again due to the... read more

I've been here quite a few times with friends and for birthdays. Wonderful Italian food without a hefty price tag. Food is always served quickly and tastes great! Recommended!

Hotel charming in the middle of a busy market town. Food was excellent as was the service. Hotel was very busy but you would not no it by the attentive service. Food reasonably priced and most items homemade.

My wife and I live about 20 miles from Hungerford but rarely have occasion to visit the town. Recently we made a special trip to attend a special open day at "The Furnishing Place" in the High Street (great for unique furniture, home accessories and gift ideas including wall art, canvas prints, coffee tables, sideboards, lighting, etc.) Excuse the plug... I've been to the 'Three Swans' a lot and I used to like it but tonight we stayed for dinner and having paid £21.00 for the fillet steak found the accompanying chips to be packet bought! you can't do that in any respectable restaurant. I said that you wouldn't get that in the John O' Gaunt to be told "well... More

We had a great meal here with perfect rich itialian food. The staff were good and we all enjoyed it very much. The price was high and they lumped a big tip on the bill so watch that.

I recently entertained some customers and colleagues here and was not disappointed. The food, service and atmosphere made for a very refined evening. Prices were reasonable and portions generous, even for a ravenous eater like me. We definitely be back.

We called in for an early evening meal to break our motorway journey as it is 10 mins off the M4. Food was fine, reasonably priced and the staff were attentive. I didn't think it was unusually special but pleasant enough.

We ate here late on a Sunday lunchtime, arriving at 3pm and it was no trouble to get a table. Attentive service, fairly priced and great portions. My risotto with pancetta was delicious and the roasts dinners were huge, especially the Yorkshires! Worth a visit.
