Whilst in Tenerife a man handed us a leaflet for Rani Tandoori, both my fiancé and I hadn't had an Indian for some time so we decided to try it. The food was delicious and very authentic. It was a little pricey but as it was so nice we didn't mind that. The location is ok (probably better in the... More

Food is good in Rani Tandoori, but it is certainly over priced, hence we don't go as often as we would like. Many of our friends go to Rani regularly on holiday and its located in a superb location, so you won't waste your time or money in this restaurant, plus its been going years, that's a massive statement in... Hot or mild - no problem. The taste is fantastic, the colours so much nicer then any other place I have been too. Beateful views over the sea. The looks if the restaurant are ok, could need a light renovation, but really doesn't matter when you first taste your food. Ps. Be careful with the chillysause - its quite hot.... More

My husband and I went here in September, the waiter was attentive without being pushy. He was very funny. The food was probably the best India i have had outside of the UK. I always have a lamb curry and this curry here was so tender. we had a starter, mains including rice and naan, a bottle of wine and... More

After seeing a sign promoting the Rani Tandoori on a afternoon stroll we took the name and number of this restaurant, the next day we got our hotel to reserve me and my girlfriend a table here the following night. We asked the taxi driver to take us here but he did not know where it was,it is very hard... More

I am always a bit doubtful trying Indian restaurants abroad, yes I know that sound a bit odd but there we are, so anyhow after several days of hotel buffet food we were ready for a drastic change. You can see the restaurant from the promenade, getting to it was another story. You climb up through a warren of deserted... More
