The Wigan Pier was a favourite of ours which we had visited on previous holidays. This time it seemed to lack any atmosphere but it may take time for the new owners to get accustomed to their new premises.

Having visited this pub on a number of occasions tempted by €1 a pint for Amstel during the day. Myself & my daughter visited early evening for some bar food. I had the Wigan Whopper, which is exactly what it says on the tin (€7) and my daughter had the Cowboy burger (€5.50). Both burgers were very tasty but we... More

We had a meal here before leaving for the airport for our return flight. Really enjoyable lunch sat in the sun catching our last sun rays. Reasonable prices and friendly staff.

We were back this end of Tererife so I thought we could pop in again and see how the bar was. 100% better, the previous owners sold up 3 months ago and the new owners deciced to run the bar the same but de clutter it which they have done, it is lovely and clean now not one vinegar fly... More

Staff friendly . Good value. Free wi fi. We were staying across the road at the Bahia Princess where the wi fi was €19.00 a week. The beer is better at the pier and a third of the price.

Only had a drink here but the staff were very nice. Seems nice enough but no view. The menu showed good old fashioned pub grub at very reasonable prices.

Food was very good and the staff were very good with my five year old daughter. I have found some of the other English bars to be tacky and rude but hear we felt comfortable and well looked after. Very big portions and good quality food not usual cheap and cheerful . Would go back

We did our usual call to the wigan and to say I was disappointed would be an understatement, the staff were more than helpful and pleasant and Natalie the manager was at her best...but...the overall head manager was being too busy trying to save a penny and losing pounds in the process. I would never assume to tell people how... More

This is a bar we have used and enjoyed for many years. The change of ownership has affected the atmosphere quite a lot. The food is still excellent apart from the Sunday lunch and the staff are still as welcoming as ever. We as customers need to try to help create or bring back some of the feel good atmosphere....
