Fabulous place to visit !!

Wonderful ambience, superb staff and gorgeous food and drink. Paulena and Loek are such an incredible couple and work so hard. They are so welcoming, and the cold tapas of Seranno hams and International cheeses are prepared fresh and are second to none ! You mustn't miss this lovely typically... read more

Wonderful ambience, superb staff and gorgeous food and drink. Paulena and Loek are such an incredible couple and work so hard. We have been using this bar for many years, Luke and Paulina are so friendly and the food and wine is excellent. Atmosphere is great, the only problem is getting a table because it is always so busy.

We visited this lovely Tapas bar 3 times during our 5 day stay in Nerja. if you are looking for a three course meal this is not the place for you....however if you want a glass of wine a beer and a plate of uncomplicated tapas this is the only place to go in Nerja. Simple ham and cheese served... More

Paulena and Loek are the nicest friendliest Dutch couple you will ever meet, and they run a very fine bar typically Spanish cafe bar with fabulous food and wines. They are 20 years there, and my husband and I visit them once a week when we are in Nerja, which is a HUGE part of the year. The cold tapas... More

Busy little place but offers a great atmosphere worth calling in if passing but wouldn't go out my way to find it. Outside seating is a little uncomfortable and not many tables or chairs either.

Sitting outside on a warm October night eating good food and drinking the odd glass of wine or two and being entertained by minstrels, musicians and the constant flow of people. This is not now a bar with food and drink but an institution.I am bringing my own table and chairs next time as queues form for Paulina and Luke's hospitality.

The ideal place to sit, eat and drink, relax and people watch on a busy narrow street corner. The canopies as a taas selection with your choice of alcohol is highly recommended.

Trusted Trip Advisor on this one, and was not disappointed ! Fantastic tasteful tapas. Large servings. Fantastic to look at the tempo in the kitchen. My God those people worked hard. Lucky to get a table as the place seems constantly full.

This is one of the best places in Nerja to have a drink and tapas or something more than that. We have been visiting for over 20 years and it just keeps getting better. We had a family wedding in Maro in May and we had two nights where the family met in Esquinas before and after the wedding both fantastic... We only visited for drinks but the food looked amazing. It's only a small place but it's so quaint and has bags of character. If your lucky enough to get a spot outside on the street - you will have the pleasure of the musicians who visit nightly, it gives you that typical Spanish feeling. The staff are also lovely...
