This restaurant was literary next door to our hotel Riu Monica. Very busy at lunchtime esp. on Saturday and Sunday. Fresh seafood, very tasty, simple and natural. We lunched there three or four times and really enjoyed it. Grilled seabass or dorado (17€), mussels, prawns, surely sardines all very good, and one of the best gaspacho soup! Quick service, very... We stumbled across this eatery after leaving the beach to find some lunch. Oh what find, we could smell the olive wood burning before we reached the outdoor eating area. We saw the sardines on skewers being cooked, our mouths just watered. We were immediately shown to a table, served nice cold beers, which didn't touch the sides. The freshly... More

Need I say more !! Just enjoy..... The staff seem a little austere but they are not, they are just very efficient......especially when the bosses are about. Try the fish of the day, its for 2 and always good. Won't bother telling you how fresh it is !!

Come right from the beach and sit down and enjoy the freshest seafood you can find anywhere. The paellas are made to order. The espetos (sardines) are done on open fire created by olive tree roots by a cook who loves what loves what he does.

This place is the worst I've eaten in while in Nerja over the past 5 years. The menus vary in price as do the tacky pictures of the food you receive. On the outside menu it shows a large English breakfast for €6.40 which is overpriced anyway in terms of what was being offered, in comparison to other establishments, which... More

Always visit this restaurant when in Nerja, staff very friendly even when they are rushed off their feet, sardines are very good, so are the mussels, love the house salad, Spanish omelette all washed down with a nice glass of red, plenty of Spanish people at lunch times so that says it all...great place

Had a great late lunch in this beach bar/restaurant. Good Paella and grilled fish, cooked on a BBQ close by, washed down by cold beer, ideal for a group on holiday with lovely views over the sea. Great cooking smells and pleasant relaxed friendly atmosphere. Waiters explained what every dish consisted and were patient with our virtually non existent Spanish.... More

Windy week but always sheltered in this eatery. Great, efficient waiters and amazing food, quite Spanish. BBQ had excellent sardines and sea bass. Mussels looked good too. Best part of holiday

Really good Spanish food. Quite basic and a little bit chaotic but in a nice Spanishy holiday way. Whenever we have been most of the other diners have been locals. Order a selection for sharing rather than a meal each (good value and well cooked). If you like traditional Spanish fayre then I strongly recommend, if you prefer plush surroundings... More
