We visited this restaurant on a Wednesday as they were advertising Crazy Wednesday 1 Euro Tapas. We were the only ones there so the service was prompt. The tapas was excellent and presented well. There are alot of pubs on the front offering beer/sangria & tapas for a low price. The tapas is nothing compared to what we got at... More

After an interesting visit in July with excellent food but lousy service we decided to give it another go. On entering I was surprised to see that the food served up was of everyday Chiringuito style but without the Chiringuito setting! At the bar was a gentleman I recognised but could not place. When the menu arrived with Thau Beach... More

We have visited this restaurant at least 6 times over the last few months and taken lots of friends. The food is of a good standard with some outstanding dishes but the organisation is starting to deteriorate. Each time we went there was another dish off the menu. Prawns cooked 3 ways are now only cooked 2! Migas wasnt available... More

Just had a lovely meal at La Marmita. Lovely service, interesting flavours, a change from the standard diet in Fuengirola. Well worth a visit.

The quality of the food was actually rather high, and well above the ordinary turist traps in the area. The prices are very fair and all in all it's a very good deal, BUT.... The dished are somewhat "90's" like in the way they where presented and the sauces etc was the same on all the dishes... No doubt the... More

As the number one ranked restaurant in Fuengirola we decided to visit and see what gave this restaurant this status. We arrived and were shown to a table by a waitress who definately needed to go to charm school, no conversation or welcome at all. After that we were just left at the table, without a drinks order being taken,... More

We went to la Marmita following the advice of Trip advisor users. At the first glance, it looked like one of the hundred restaurants for tourist in the paseo maritimo, most of the clients sitting outside being foreigners. We started being reassured when we saw locals eating inside, and the nice presentation of the dishes served. All the menu looked... More

Five of us went to Marmita, we were pointed to our table by a waitress who didn't utter a single word, or smile. She even handed out menus and left without taking a drinks order....still no chat or smile! This peed us off so given the abundance of other restaurants we decided to take our custom elsewhere, after which we... More

What on earth this restaurant is doing on the main drag at Fuengirola, I've no idea. I was simply blown away by the standard of the food & wine. Delicious, creative, clever, great service, outrageous value. I'd travel to Fuengirola from the UK just to go to this restaurant.!!
