My parents wanted to eat here to celebrate their 60th Wedding Anniversary, so we did. Attentive staff who had remembered my booked and congratulated them. It is essential to book as it is very busy. Huge portions! On the whole well cooked but not special. Noise levels in the restaurant can get a little intrusive, so would not recommend for... More

El Rio is one of those lovely family run Spanish restaurants that is off the beaten track, yet easy to find if you look. The proprietor and his staff take great pride in their presentation of food and they make sure you are very well looked after even when its busy. The duck is to die for; you must order... More

Service was really bad. They should employ more staff. Alk tapas overheated in microwave. Do not recommend this tourist trap.

Came to fuengirola from a different resort and visited here again for 3rd time and was not disappointed. Always have the sirloin steak on the stone as the meat is great quality and the sides/sauces delicious. It is always an overall great experience, as the staff are so friendly and welcoming.

Most people seem to order from the 3 course menu of the day at 12.50euro with several choices for each course. On very busy days service and quality not as good but very good restaurant.

We visited this restaurant several times on our recent holiday to Los Boliches. The food and service was excellent on each occasion. The price is very reasonable, a three course menu for 12.50 euros. Will definitely go to this restaurant again if we return to Los Boliches.

We have just had another stay in Los Boliches. We visited Antonio and his staff on three occasions, twice for tapas and once for an evening meal. The staff are always happy to see you the food is excellent and reasonably priced. Best to book in the evenings as they can get very busy. We have been using this restaurant... More

Went back to Fuengirola after 3 years hoping that Antonia and his staff were still in business. Had a fabulous meal on the Tuesday evening (they do not open Sunday and Monday) and booked for two further nights. On Saturday night we ate the salted fish (24 hours notice) which was superb. The whole ambiance of this restaurant, the attentive... More
