tried this place again with friends . Unfortunately cannot recommend it as it's overpriced and still everything comes as an extra. Used to be able to say the steak more than made up for this . But there is so much competition at far lower prices Try Others such as Filo Campo Or El caprico ( both in fish alley... More

We ate here last Thursday. All of us had steak or mixed grills. Food was excellent and the menu was what you would expect from an argentine restaurant. Plenty of house red too.

We do tend to visit ponchos 4-5 times a year. I'm surprised that I haven't reviewed this restaurant before. As usual I started with the Gambas pil pil. Not the best I have ever had but very nice all the same. However the thing about this place is the steak. That is what people go there for. Steaks of all... More

Have been to a few steak restaurants in Fuengirola but on my friends sisters advice, who lives nearby, 4 of us plus my friends sister went along, it is lovely old style but fresh & clean with plenty of spaces indoors & a sheltered area to eat outside. Brenda, my friends sister who had been many times with her husband,... More

Been two years since my last visit (not through any dissatisfaction) and was generally impressed. I believe that they may have reviewed their pricing (more favourable) as this time for 8 people, we only paid 240 euros, including wine. We enjoyed the pies and sausages starters (tip some may find that this can be shared between 2) and then had... More

I visited this restaurant a few years ago and had a bad experience of overcharging so have not been back until recently, even though I live 100 metres away. However we went because the weather was terrible, we wanted a steak and dint want to walk far. This time, good table, great service from the girls there, good attention from... More

Have been going to Poncho's for many years. The fillet steak is fantastic - wonderful flavour, and so tender. Empanadas to start, with their wonderful house salsa. Yummy! Friendly and efficient staff. Always enjoyable.

I have visited this restaurant several times, and it has never let me down. The food is always to die for, especially their own chimichurri-style salsa, which goes extra nicely with fish (even if it is a steak restaurant, the fish is also worth trying). The service has always been really really good. Also worth a visit during lunch time,... More
