Just a few hundred metres from Parador Carmona this is a charming restaurant in a garden courtyard under a lemon tree. We arrived just before 8 PM and was the first there. The bread rolls was just out of the oven. The breadsticks was also delicious. We had the veal carpacio and it was excellent. The tempura veggies and prawn... More

We have been staying at the Parador about 200m away. We didn't like the service and lack of ambience there so we decided to try La Yedra. The small courtyard was intimate and had ambience. The staff were polite, friendly and very professional. I see others found them unfriendly but I suspect they have slight problems communicating with poor Spanish... More

Exquisite cuisine, lovely ambiance and top notch service! What else can I say? In all honesty, don´t waste your cash in the Parador when you can go here and get stellar food and service for less money! Btw, if you go, make sure to ask for Jose or Mónica (the owners) so you can give them your two cents about... More

As you stroll through the winding narrow streets of the pueblo blanco that is Carmona, be sure to stop at Restaurante La Yedra, just a stone's throw from the Parador at the top of the town. Here you will be seduced by the warm welcome and the most delicious yet simple cuisine served either in the sunny courtyard or amid... More

We came here for the menu of the day. We got good food for only 18 euro. Excellent wine as well, however... Service was terrible. The waitress didn't say a word when we arrived, when she took our orders and when she served the dishes. There was one mumbled "gracias" during the whole evening. Sorry for the chef, but we... More

My first visit to this special restaurant was in May of 2012, I make a point to make a return trip each and every time in Europe. I hope that the owners open restaurants in America, this is truly a special kind of restaurant and I recommend it highly to my friends in the States to put it on this... More

Spotted this restaurant walking down from the nearby Parador in Carmona to look around the town. We decided to have lunch here and what a great decision that was. Ate outside in a sunny courtyard, lovely and warm for the 1st March. The four of us chose different tapas and all were very good but the star was my wife's... More

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel staff at las Descalzas and it is hard to believe when you find these gems. The room looked as it had been decorated by Martha Stewart, the staff was friendly but the food! The food was fantastic! We had an array of fab appetizers, the tastiest Serrano ham, croquettes, fried cheese triangles,... More

Charming small restaurant well placed 100m from the Parador of Carmona. An all girl team do a good job at creative, modern takes on some traditional Spanish food. Although the addition of a jus de cuisson or a simple reduction, such as a cider reduction with the pork, or a sweet Spanish wine, such as Vino de Malaga would add... More

We've been coming to Spain as a group for several years and have stayed at many Paradors in out of the way towns. We decided not to eat in the parador this time and, following other reviews, decided to try this place. We were absolutely delighted with it. One of the best, if not THE best meal we've ever had...
