Really enjoyed our meals here. The 1st night we were just looking for a snack so we shared 2 starters and a lovely bottle of wine. Went back another evening to have a complete dinner. Had same waiter both nights who offered some helpful eating & wine suggestions. Do try !

Excellent sea food. Prompt service. I will return if in Nazare. Try the shrimps. We mostly had seafood but even those who ordered steak enjoyed their meal. Excellent value for money

My knowledge of Nazare was limited to one famous record breaking surfer. Now, I will always remember Nazare as the place of my most memorable seafood lunch. Great selection of fresh fish for grilling on demand, and many other choices for seafood. I had for the first time, barnacles! Quite different, but tasty. The service was quick and efficient, the... This is in my opinion the best restaurant in Nazaré and on my top three restaurants for seafood in Portugal (the other two are "Kate Kero" in Peniche and "Traineira" in Lagoa - São Miguel). I travel to Portugal 3/4 times a year and return to this restaurant at least once in the Summer and once in the Winter... Absolutely... More

Fantastic fresh seafood, nice wine list and friendly service. The shellfish rice is outstanding, full of fresh clams and shrimp, and a tasty seafood broth. After sampling a few other area restaurants, we returned to Taberna d'Adella for a second time for another great dining experience. The restaurant is about a block off the main beach area, but is well... More

We ate here twice, it was that good. The shellfish with rice is really fantastic and the best of any we had in the area. Wine list is good with many choices of all Portugese wines. Service is average for the area. Definitely a good choice. Recommended in the Rick Steve's guide.

In a place full of restaurants I highly recommend this typical fish restaurant. Here you get more than the grilled fish, boiled potatoes and salad. The starters are great, try the "cataplana de peixe" or choose the fish you would like to have grilled for you. We had a friendly waiter and even my husband who does not eat fish... More

Half hidden in a side alley (Rua das Traineiras) two minutes from the Promenade stands busy and proud a typical portuguese eatery with a difference. It is a grill restaurant serving rustic portuguese fare like many others but its abundant variety of the freshest fish, barbecued outside and other traditional regional dishes make it stand out in Nazare, a place... My husband is a vegetarian, and it is not so easy to find vegetarian food in fish restaurants! but in Taberna d´Adelia he got what he wanted: a special vegetarian dish for him. I love eating fish. The fish dishes were very tasty! The startes were excellent (3 different small plates, 4 euro for 1 started). Very clean, quick and... More
