Lunch here certainly was an experience. I had the full taster menu, which was well worth its price, with a glass of local white with the fish and red with the meat, which I left to the staff discretion. Excellent. It is a succession of amazing appetizers, starters and mains, sumptuously presented. Two suggestions. I found the oyster, however very... More

My wife and I went to Largo do Paço for lunch on a weekday. This is when the place is more affordable - currently they offer a 5-course menu for 35 euros per person, not including drinks. The full 8-course menu would cost 80 euros per person. The place's atmosphere is fantastic. The hotel/castle in which the restaurant is located... More

Truly divine! I had dinner at this restaurant and selected the tasting menu with the matching wine menu...everything was perfect! The food was very delicious and with every new plate that came to the table I was amazed not only by the appearance but also by the flavours. We stayed at the hotel where the restaurant is based and although usually we avoid eating in hotel restaurants - so that we can experience the wider area - this restaurant was just too good to miss! We had our first evening meal there, then on the Saturday night had the tasting menu. Absolutely brilliant but really just too much... More

Thank you very much for your kind comment about your experience in our restaurant. We are always happy to try to accomodate our clients needs. We know that a degustation menu can be, at night a bit too much food, and for that reason, we have created shorter menus, with the same quality as the big ones. We really hope... More

On a special environment, due to the hotel's quality, Largo do Paço is a one star Michelin Star restaurant that deserves a great review. Extremely good food, excelent service and a great price (all my Michelin Star restaurants' experiences were largely more expensive).
