We went to this restaurant 0n April 17, 2014, following a favorable review in Lonely Plant Sicily (Feb'14 edition). However, we were disappointed with the bland food. Moreover, our bill was added 15% service charge on top a "coperti" charge for all 4 of us (2 Euros/person) even though we were only 4 and we have never seen this anywhere... More

Friendly, family oriented restaurant. It is chilly in Enna right now and we are so glad we found this place. The pasta is delicious and the service is extremely warm and welcoming.

Chef must have been away.. We were 5, ordered antipasti and 4 different plates, but none of them tasted good. Just hope we do not get sick, as some of the things we ate tasted somewhat funky. The waiter was very friendly but the tv, which they did not want to turn off, is not good for the atmosphere.

We were there on a cold rainy day and grateful that they were open early for lunch. Everything we had was delicious, I especially loved the home-made gnocchi with mushrooms. The cook and the waiter were both fun and happy to answer any questions regarding their recipes. We would have loved to stay for a cooking class, we could have... More

Enna is a bit off the beaten tourist path. So not finding a transfixing dining experience was no surprise. We were quite pleased however to find a couple of very nice restaurants, with very good service and very enjoyable food. This was one of them. I very much recommend it.

Not a very impressive Sicilian meal, but a fairly expensive one.

Very accomodating staff, and excellent variety of dishes! Definetely influenced by north Africa, with a surprisingly good ground beef item with a hint of mint. Excellent mixed anti-pasta.

Very tasteful 'piatti' with focus on local products and traditional recipes from the Enna region, charming host and cosy atmosphere, generous portions (the antipasto rustico could satisfy two people!), great 'vino di casa', and excellent value for money. Would definitely come back, both for the memorable food and the magnificent view of Calascibetta and the valley!
