This restaurant was recommended by the tourist office and the bar around the corner from the Duomo. They offered traditional rustic Sicilian dishes. My husband and I shared a antipasti rustici (with 6-7 different kinds of antipasti), a pasta with Sicilian pesto, and a stinco. The stinco was the best. At the end we were asked to have a little... To be suggested , anyway also for good prices.

From the decorations to the staff, we were utterly charmed, but the best part was that after we had looked at the menu, we told our waiter - who turned out to be the chef - that we couldn't decide, but didn't want too large of a meal. He told us to leave it to him so we did, and... More

We visited family in enna, sicily and went to many restaurants. La Trinacria was by far the best. Not just the food but the atmosphere and service. We are sicilian-americans and they treated us like we were family. The menu was in sicilian which was great. They are located on a little side street on the way back from an... More

I have visited most of Sicily but on my way from Agrigento to Catania I decided to stop at Enna as i wanted to see what rustic internal Sicily was all about - my husband and I had eaten fish until we popped in Agrigento and Catania so we decided to throw caution to the wind and ask some locals... I've been to many places around the world and this one had the worst food I've ever tried. Seriously. We ordered 3 main courses: beef rolls, chicken schnitzel and some Enna-style beef. All three plates were like the food was made a couple of day ago the put in the fridge and then heated in the microwave right after our... More

Enna is the highest hilltop town in Sicily - the panoramique views are spectacular and worth a visit alone. It's a quiet town otherwise but if you have time for lunch, head to La Trinacria. A small, unassuming Sicilian restaurant with great food and loved by locals. Try their house mixed starter - it is very filling so go slowly... More

Everything Luigi placed before me was delicious! The pasta had great flavor, the canolli was deliciously sweet with a flaky shell, and the limoncello was very smooth! The best meal I've had since I arrived in Italy!! Definitely requires a visit!

Can't believe the last bad review, you should ignore it. Great family run authentic Sicilian restaurant. Delicious tasty food and lovely house wine. Great value for the quality of the meal, we were amazed at the low cost. Staff friendly and courteous. Would definitely return.
