Had two evening meals at the Whitehorses Restaurant during a few days break spent in Ardmore. Restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and the food is 'to die for'. Had the chicken curry kebab on the first evening and the sirloin steak on the second night - both dishes were amazing and very professionally presented. My only disappointment was... More

Gourmet food at very reasonable prices. Save room for desert. Don't forget to take a walk around town after your meal.

Went here for lunch. Had seafood chowder - very fresh, full of fish and tssty. Also had a prawn sandwich to share which was equally tasty. Large portions of both. Just a shame we had no room for their delicious looking desserts. Friendly, helpful staff and clean, fresh place.

We called in to this Restaurant for dessert after a disappointing lunch at Cliff House. The quality and quality was excellent. Not cheap but very satisfying. If the weather is good it is best to eat in the garden. The staff are very helpful.

Lovely friendly staff and we had the 3 course set bank holiday menu. Local wild garlic mushrooms were delicious and the fish main course was beautiful. Very good sized portions and the desserts are amazing as well. A great find in Ardmore.

We had the most delightful dinner last night. This is a small, very charming place operated by a couple and their daughter. The food was outstanding. We can't recommend this restaurant more highly.

An excellent meal. Only had the main course because the portions were so generous. The desserts were recommended to us so we will try them on our next visit. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Not to be missed.

Stopped for a quick bite to eat on way to cliff walk. Only had soup and a coffee but it was delicious with lovely home made brown bread. Quaint garden at the back is nice to sit out on a fine day. Desserts looked to die for.

Fantastic experience!! We we seated at a lovely round table for 4. The tables alone are impressive with simplistic yet tasteful settings, dotted with lovely local pottery pieces for salt&pepper, water jug etc. Once seated we were given a nice fresh selection of breads to enjoy while deciding on their fantastic menu. The menu is presented on a wicker style... More
