Yet another "stand in the queue and wait to be served" set- ups, but very efficiently run and needless to say, hugely popular amongst the locals! It is off the beaten track for tourists but thanks to the good directions from our B&B host, we located it without any hassle. At €10 per head for the carvery, we thought it... More

Visited in March 15 on business with work colleagues Food fantastic especially the dessert! Service wonderful & personal, I regrettably forget our hosts name, the lady couldn't do enough for us Nice atmosphere, music, relaxing by roaring log fire with my first ever pint of Guinness! Would definitely return

good service good crack nice quiet restaurant and we enjoyed traditional Irish cuisine-pizza!!.The locals were really friendly and of course the Irish are like us kiwis in that they travel and understand 2 degrees of separation so 5 minutes and you have established a mutual aquaintance

I have been very lucky to eat at some lovely restaurants in Ireland and by far this is the best meal I have ever had. To top it off they bring lunch to the factory for meetings and I have to take pictures to show my friends the quality and the filling that are given. Absolutely stunning . The Thatched... More

I'm really dissapointed. Place look encourage from outside but stuff had their meal while I was waiting at the bar to get my order.. Meal was "alright" while I finished my meal finally I got my drinks. Also ordered Latte but unfortunately I got Cappuccino. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this place.

Had excellent Sunday lunch there yesterday. Restuarant was spotless and decor very nice. They also serve food in the bar area where there is a giant TV screen, but we wanted a quiter location so choose the restuarant. No complaints. Set menu was 25 euro per head, and was excellent value for 3 courses incl tea/coffee

Nice County Gasto Pub. Each time I visit and I eat there it's like a sensorial experierence. Last Wednesday I had the best chowder ever and a fantastic seabass fillet on a creamy Chardannay sauce. Even the veggie served as a side dish were tasty and well cookedAll fresh, cooked to order and soooooo nice. Also the location is beautiful... More
