Breakfast of Champions!

Millennial compliments to the chef for quite simply the best breakfast on a plate out there! If it was my last meal... Also to the best serving staff. Thank you!

I had heard work colleagues sing the praises of Shells and made a promise that I would go there to see what all the fuss was about. This week my wife and I were travelling to County Mayo and I decided to take a slight detour in order that we could have lunch there. The first thing that struck me... More

Went here early on a Sunday March morning, and the place was packed, couldn't believe it! Lucky to get a seat. Very nice food, service with a smile, will be back.

We had a small lunch at Shells on a windy day in Strandhill. The food was excellent. There's not too much room, but it was nice and cozy.

Found this gem when in Sligo for a weekend. The weather was surprisingly good so we decided to head to the beach. After a few hours, we went for food in Shells which was delicious. Their sandwich's were so tasty and the bread they were made on was fantastic. The homemade chips tasted so good also. Will stop by again.

Just recently re-opened, Shells is another gem in the Sligo experience, if you are doing anything in the Strandhill area, climbing Knocknarea, walking Culleenamore strand, visiting Carramore Megalithic cemetery and/or surfing, call in here for your coffee, breakfast, lunch whatever, eat inside or out while enjoying the wild Atlantic as it crashes on the rocks just meters away from you.... Been to Shells quite a few times for breakfast, lunch and coffee. Food is always good and the atmosphere is great. Iti s quite small so at busy times you may have to wait to be seated.
