My husband and I discovered Penguin Ed's downtown local almost two years ago and it quickly became our favorite BBQ in the entire area. Last year some close friends came down from Eureka Springs and wanted us to take them. It was a busy time of day on a Saturday so we chose to go to this local instead. Same... More

This is not only great food but is a fun place. The value per $ is as good as it gets. A BBQ plate with meat and 2 sides at 6.95 is almost more then one can eat. You will love this place.

This not BBQ it is thin sliced roasted meat. There is no smoke ring or smoke taste. The beef is not even good smothered in BBQ sauce! I can't believe locals rave about this place. One good trip to Memphis or Texas would provide a good example of what BBQ should taste like. If you want BBQ in Fayetteville then... More

Love there BBQ chicken sandwiches, baked beans and potato wedges. They have coloring pages and a chalk board towards the end to keep the kids occupied. Excellent food, and Friendly service.

I have been coming here for years and the food used to be good, but now it's great. Always friendly staff and always great food. You can sit down and enjoy a cold libation or get a fresh warm cookie.

The building is very run down and in an awkward location at the crest of a hill and turn in the road. It had a very small seating area and small bathroom. The food was fair. Low quality, fatty beef. The pulled pork was soft, but flavorless. The BBQ sauce, sadly, didn't add anything to the meal. To top it... More

Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday at noon. I ordered the sliced brisket and pulled pork plate. While the servings were generous, the meat was not fresh. My wife had the chopped beef sandwich that is served on Texas toast. The sandwich had a generous meat portion also. While I like quantity, when it comes to food I place... More

Recently had some pork barbecue at Penguin Ed's in Fayetteville. The menu was very extensive, the pork was tasty and full of flavor. Many different sauces and sides to choose from. Service was great and the place was absolutely spotless. Great find.

The food was passable, the toast was ok, we had the brisket, the chicken, the pork shoulder, and the ribs. Ribs rocked.
