Ribs are to die for

Ok, I'm from Texas, and it's hard to convince Texas folks that you can do barbeque "right." But Penguin Ed's ribs are my favorite of the many barbeque joints available to us in northwest Arkansas. Another lunchtime favorite is huge baked potato or the smoked chicken salad. Penguin Ed's Way out West... read more

We had breakfast on mother's day here, ordered biscuits and gravy, sausage thing and cinn rolls. Was not impressed with anything except for the sausage thing. Cinn roll tasted as if it were made the day before and had been sitting out all night. Won't be returning for breakfast but the dinner is great!

I love this small restaurants that aren't very crowded, service is very good and the food awesome... and forgot to mention the dessert, those giant cookies with M&Ms

B&B BBQ is the quintessential barbecue joint you want to go to! My fiance's parents went here when they met, and now we do too. The first thing that hits you when you get out of your car is that delicious aroma of BBQ smoking out back. When you get in, the atmosphere lets you know you've stepped into one... More

In Northwest Arkansas, I even Ulysses Everett McGill would concede Penguin Eds as the Paterfamilias of the BBQ family. Northwest Arkansas, home of the Hogs, should be a BBQ mecca, but for whatever reason, it is not. Over the past 10-15 years, the variety has grown, and some well above average BBQ has been added. Penguin Eds has been around... More

Pulled pork was excellent, as was the ham. Battered fries and onion rings were also very good. Beer menu was lacking, I would have liked to seen some local beers on the list.

Food is always outstanding! And affordable, there's no high class joint in the world that can produce ribs as flawless as these plus a drink two sides and Texas roast with tip under $20! Waitress was great, prompt and courteous! Ribs fall off the bone!

Penguin Eds is the best BBQ in NW Arkansas. So casual, order at the counter and enjoy. The ribs are great! But so is the pork and chicken. Whether you order half a chicken, pulled pork or the ribs, the dinner is great. ALL the sides are good and lots of them. This is a monthly regular for us, for... More

Penguin Eds has really good lunch specials. Their barbecue is delicious and they have very efficient servers. You get good sized portions for a reasonable price.
