We stopped in for supper during BBB. The wait staff was super friendly and the patio atmosphere was perfect after a long day on the bike. The meat was only lightly smoked, so it was different than we were used too, but it was tasty and the price was fabulous especially since other restaurants had marked up their prices for... More

Service was good. Food served in a timely manner, however for being told that this was a very good BBQ restaurant we found it to be average. Not a place we would revisit. Our dining experience was uncomfortable in that we were seated on the patio in full mid day sun. Patio is roofed but some sort of temporary shade... More

We had breakfast at Penguin Ed's Sunday morning, and afterwards I was wondering why I don't eat here more! Close to home, consistenly good food, and good options for my hubby who can't eat mammalian meat - even for a BBQ restaurant! Lots of options for breakfast, great homemade cookies, friendly staff, all-around good place to eat.

Benguin Eds restaurant has steadily grown through out the years in this college town. Several sites now serve the delicious BBQ and breakfasts within a clean and fun area.

When we go for BBQ in Fayetteville we enjoy Penguin Ed's on east Ave, for it's location down under the hill and atmosphere. there are better places to get BBQ but it is decent and the portions are generous, and the prices reasonable, combined with the atmosphere makes it a fun place to eat.

Based on the mediocre ratings, I wasn't expecting much, especially during BBBBQ, but we were pleasantly surprised. Good service, quick seating. Way too much food, though. Consider sharing.

Really nice to see the old B&B BBQ is still unchanged, even though they purchased it and changed the name.

Great, southern BBQ, with a large variety to choose from. Their menu also includes some non-BBQ items, such as fried pickles. You can pick up the phone at your booth / table and order, or just wait until the waitress comes by. Great food, great service, fair prices. I tired the BBQ polish sausage. Was a bit surprised when it... More

I've eaten penguin ed's since I was a college student. All of their meats are very tasty but the chicken and brisket are typically my go to meals. I prefer this location over the mission and crossover because it gives you that old school BBQ house feel. Make sure you walk out with a cookie. That is certainly the "icing... More
