Too Much Shrimp!

While there are a few menu items that are NOT shrimp, like most "seafood" restaurants, theirs is heavy laden with the little animal on the floor of the sea. And most of their dishes are fried. That's too easy. I don't have anything against shrimp...in fact I think they taste wonderful. But the... read more

We used to enjoy eating at this restaurant, but last time we were there, the host seated another table and us at the same time. Fine, but the other table got waited on first so we got up and left. When he asked what happened we told him, and he said he forgot to tell the waiter we were seated... More

Fun rustic restaurant with historic charm. Broad menu with Cajun flare. Great food. Good location off Dickson Street area. Good value. Will return.

Loved the menu choices, which are heavy on Gulf dishes. Prices are very reasonable, and service was superb. The unique atmosphere adds to the experience.

Was brought here on a business trip by a local friend. The restaurant itself used to be an old electricity powerhouse. It's been renovated and turned into an upscale sports bar type environment, but still family friendly. Enjoyed a great meal and service.

I went with a few friends to celebrate our birthday month. As we are all oyster lovers, we went during Happy Hour since they run a half price off raw oysters from 5-7PM. Their raw oysters on the half shell were very good...not the largest I've ever had, but tasty. They have a good selection of beers on tap. I've... More

We love visiting Dickson Street for food and music with a touch of people watching. But it can be crowded at times, and the Fayetteville City parking makes it almost a chore. Powerhouse offers convenient parking where you don't have to go look for a parking toll station and no worries about parking tickets, towing, or your car getting booted.... More

We've eaten at Powerhouse several times, almost always on a weekend. This time, we actually went on Valentine's night with another couple. We were told the first reservation would be at 9:30, so we opted to take our chances and sit at the bar. We were totally prepared for the restaurant to be super busy and for service to take... More

Nikki - thanks for taking the time to write a review and letting us know about your experience. Certainly all servers & bartenders should be attentive and I can't imagine what was responsible for the lack of interest by the bartender. Typically our bartenders are upbeat and engaging. However we have been hiring and training some new bartenders preparing for... More

You will absolutely find something to eat here. The menu is extensive with some really interesting offerings, and the food is delicious. The atmosphere is great too, Located in the old Power and Light Building, the brick and interesting architecture is priceless. It is a little pricey, but will make your special night out.

Went here with a group of friends before attending a performance at Theater Squared. Best deal on oysters within hundreds of miles. We filled up on delicious appetizers and drinks instead of ordering dinner. We were all full and happy and left with money to spare.
