I work abroad, and whenever I am able to go home Powerhouse is on the must visit list - it has long been a favorite for me and my wife. Last week we went for a late lunch, like mid-afternoon, and since breakfast had been many hours earlier, we chose to order our top choices from the dinner menu. It... More

Mark, thanks for writing your review. You are entirely correct 4 shrimp is not an acceptable portion for a meal. I have sent you a message asking for more info so I can see where the issues are within PH. With your help this will be resolved. As to portion sizes and costs, we have barely raised prices at PH... The Kilowatt is their famous drink and it is delicious & strong! Similar to a frozen hurricane. The Powerhouse salad is a must also. All the food is fantastic - you cannot go wrong with anything you order. They also have nightly specials that are great. Kid friendly but also a good date night place. The backroom is also great... I don't usually eat seafood unless I am vacationing on the Gulf. But Powerhouse has very fresh selections (salmon is wonderful) and I have never been disappointed. I actually had to visit twice on my last visit to Fayetteville because I could not decide what I wanted. It is a bit pricey but worth it. All appetizers are great, especially... More

After a long day of touring the University of Arkansas we stopped in for dinner. They had a great menu with something for everyone. My daughter wanted escargot as an appetizer her friend wanted fried pickles (just an example of the range). If she attends college there, we'll be back on a regular basis.

Fried, fried and fried. Don't get me wrong. I'm Southern, so I like fried. But I don't want everything on my plate done that way. I ordered blackened fish and it looked lonely and small on the plate. This place is a good location and has $5 wine specials and some happy hours that are fun, but there are so... More

We went for dinner & see a musician performing on the patio. We were told wine was 1/2 off. We chose a bottle, the waitress brought out plastic cups! When we asked for wine glasses she said no glass on the patio. But there were glass beer bottles. When I asked the manager he declined to give us wine glasses... More

Cayla, I couldn't agree with you more and I don't have an explanation why we were still serving wine in plastic cups. The Tuesday Music Patio to help promote wine night was fairly new to us and I thought we had covered this situation in our manager meeting but wine will be served on the patio in glass. We now... We went to this quirky restaurant for an early dinner on a Friday night. We did make a reservation but they weren't very busy at 5:30. We will definitely go back. We ordered Calamari with Artichokes as an appetizer and it was very good. Two of us ordered the Lobster Bisque. Both have tasted many lobster and crab bisques on... More
