My husband & I ate there during our visit to Fayetteville Memorial Day weekend. We both had the create your own. Hubby had Fried Shrimp, Fried Oysters & Fried Catfish. I had the Fried Oysters, Fried Catfish and Grilled Shrimp Skewer over Rice. All was excellent! I absolutely love fried Oysters and they are very hard to find on the... More

Just off Dickson Street, this has great food of all kinds, great and powerful Kilowatts (drinks) and a club in the back with live music - a very current and happening place on all levels and the owner is always willing to do whatever it takes for his customers. I love the really big salad they fix at your table... More

My wife and I took my mother with us for celebration. my wife is allergic to cheese and ordered no cheese ,of course the waier brought salad with cheese. My mother asked for large shrimp in a cajun dish and waiter said 6$ more and barely 6 shrimp out of 30 would have passed for medium maybe. the waiter disappeared... More

Great steak, awesome onion rings....kinda pricey, but quality is worth it. Some kind of fruity drink was unbelievable...megawatt something or another. Will return.

the Powerhouse building is just that - it was the power plant building for Fayetteville in the 30s, so it has a great atmosphere. And we're a long way from the big water, but everything on the menu is fresh. My wife gets the fried shrimp. That's it, doesn't need a menu! I've got several favorites, but have also tried... More

Went there twice in 24 hours. Cool atmosphere. First we went for dinner. Had a big party of about 20 for a graduation party. Dinner was really good. The gumbo was excellent. Hush puppies were great and the blackened tilapia was very well cooked and delicious. The cheese cake was also very good. Service was great. We came back the... More

We were looking for something new and nice to celebrate. Powerhouse was recommended. First it is very hard to find. The lobster bisque soup was outstanding I have to say. Unfortunately it went down from there. The rest of the meal (combo platter) was Red Lobster quality only smaller portions. Prices, however, were a lot higher. It was okay but... More

I had grilled tilapia with shrimp and crab sauce on top. Tilapia was very good, sauce wasn't very tasty. Would have been better to leave off the sauce. Meal came with one side. I picked, at waiter's suggestion the cole slaw. It was good, sweet, and a large portion, which I shared. They serve cornbread muffins with each meal. They... More

We had eaten here before and it was really good, but the second time the food was good, the service was lacking. We ordered an appetizer which the waitress forgot. She brought it after we had our food. We had all ordered baked potatoes and when she brought our food she said all the potatoes were burned and it would... More

Ate at Powerhouse on a recent visit to Fayetteville. I enjoyed the "bacon bleu cheese" burger and chips, while other members of my party enjoyed some pasta and seafood. Everybody thought the food was good and service was good. Definitely a busy restaurant, had a ton of larger groups throughout the establishment. I don't know if I will return, Dickson... More
