Fried, fried and fried. Don't get me wrong. I'm Southern, so I like fried. But I don't want everything on my plate done that way. I ordered blackened fish and it looked lonely and small on the plate. This place is a good location and has $5 wine specials and some happy hours that are fun, but there are so... More

We went for dinner & see a musician performing on the patio. We were told wine was 1/2 off. We chose a bottle, the waitress brought out plastic cups! When we asked for wine glasses she said no glass on the patio. But there were glass beer bottles. When I asked the manager he declined to give us wine glasses... More

We went to this quirky restaurant for an early dinner on a Friday night. We did make a reservation but they weren't very busy at 5:30. We will definitely go back. We ordered Calamari with Artichokes as an appetizer and it was very good. Two of us ordered the Lobster Bisque. Both have tasted many lobster and crab bisques on... More

My husband & I ate there during our visit to Fayetteville Memorial Day weekend. We both had the create your own. Hubby had Fried Shrimp, Fried Oysters & Fried Catfish. I had the Fried Oysters, Fried Catfish and Grilled Shrimp Skewer over Rice. All was excellent! I absolutely love fried Oysters and they are very hard to find on the... More

Just off Dickson Street, this has great food of all kinds, great and powerful Kilowatts (drinks) and a club in the back with live music - a very current and happening place on all levels and the owner is always willing to do whatever it takes for his customers. I love the really big salad they fix at your table... More

Great steak, awesome onion rings....kinda pricey, but quality is worth it. Some kind of fruity drink was unbelievable...megawatt something or another. Will return.

the Powerhouse building is just that - it was the power plant building for Fayetteville in the 30s, so it has a great atmosphere. And we're a long way from the big water, but everything on the menu is fresh. My wife gets the fried shrimp. That's it, doesn't need a menu! I've got several favorites, but have also tried... More

Went there twice in 24 hours. Cool atmosphere. First we went for dinner. Had a big party of about 20 for a graduation party. Dinner was really good. The gumbo was excellent. Hush puppies were great and the blackened tilapia was very well cooked and delicious. The cheese cake was also very good. Service was great. We came back the... More

We were looking for something new and nice to celebrate. Powerhouse was recommended. First it is very hard to find. The lobster bisque soup was outstanding I have to say. Unfortunately it went down from there. The rest of the meal (combo platter) was Red Lobster quality only smaller portions. Prices, however, were a lot higher. It was okay but... More
