Hugo's is always crowded and certainly out of the beaten path for general public . However, staff are 100% on task and food is excellent and priced well. Steps might be hard for some to navigate. Trout is my favorite.

This tiny place can be easy to miss, as it is down some street-level stairs in a basement location in downtown Fayetteville. You will be missing out if you let the location and size of this place deter you; it's actually kind of neat down there in that little 'hole' and the food is terrific!

Was looking for a local restaurant for dinner (tired of the chains...). Was very impressed by the atmosphere (basement). The staff was nice and the food was excellent. The basked of fries was HUGE! They're known for burgers - my step-son says the Blue Cheese burger is to die for...

We had the burgers. Good quality meat. Cooked just right. Prompt service, hot food and fun atmosphere. We enjoyed our lunch for our stop over.

Our son attends the U of A so we always go to various places to try out the food. We have eaten at Hugo's a couple of times. I am not sure why it is número uno on Trip Advisor though. The burgers are fine but definitely not the best I ever had. And we had to order an $8.00... More

Great burgers and fries, we had cheeseburger, smoked cheddar with bacon burger and bleu cheese burgers. All were great juicy with lots of flavor. Fries were perfect, cooked well, crispy and a large basket that can feed four people. This will be a go to place on future visits. Chips that come with the burgers need seasoning and salt, not... Ate at Hugo's twice on my recent stay. It is very convenient to the hotel we stayed in. I had fish taco 's, which were old. Next time I had Brett's special, a marinated chicken breast sandwich which was very good. A basket of French fries will serve 2-3 people.

Enjoyed a late lunch here while in Fayetteville for a wedding. Our daughter's friend recommended it, and we loved it. I had the Blue Moon Burger, which was delicious and large. Atmosphere reminded us a bit of an English pub - dark wood, few windows, and cozy!

Great variety of sandwiches made it very difficult to make a selection. Could have gone with several options, but opted for the Chicken Po-Boy which was very good, and had a unique flavor. The fry basket would serve at least two people, and possibly up to four. With the quality and options, it's easy to see a return visit as... More

Some things never change. Excellent food and fun atmosphere. Bleu moon burger and fries is always a solid choice.
