We had lunch at Hugo's recently when in Fayetteville, It had been several years since our last visit and we were not disappointed I had the Mexican burrito crepes and my wife had the broccoli cheese quiche. We both enjoyed the lunch. We were at Hugo's on a Saturday and had lunch a little after 1100 am. There were already... More

Right between the square and Dickson Street, this cellar bistro has been around forever. With good reason: the atmosphere is cool and funky, and the food is great! It's a perfect place to meet friends. ..they have something for everyone. ..great burgers, nachos, and sandwiches, as well as vegetarian dishes like crepes and a cheese board with fruit. Plus the... Hugo's had wide variety of good food even though set in a small pub type environment. Great food and staff extremely friendly.

This place was recommended by the locals. We had juicy, somewhat greasy 1/3 pound hamburgers with their homemade fries. Excellent lunch! Inside was not fancy but who needs that when you have a good lunch coming.

Dive below the street to a busy, efficient, friendly venue with excellent food. Treat yourself to some homemade french fries -- even if you don't *ever* eat fries.

Traveling through Fayetteville I stopped at the Square to grab lunch. I noticed people going down a flight of stairs into a basement restaurant, so I followed to check it out. You seat yourself and I was quickly greeted by a very sweet young woman. I told her that I had never been here and I wasn't familiar with the... More

We stopped at Hugo's on our way to Eureka Springs. We were referred here by the nice lady at the Visitor Center. She said "everything is good" so we decided to try it. We were very pleased. Our hamburgers were delicious! Oh, and the homemade french fries were great too! We were there @ lunch time so it was pretty... More

Hugo's is always crowded and certainly out of the beaten path for general public . However, staff are 100% on task and food is excellent and priced well. Steps might be hard for some to navigate. Trout is my favorite.

This tiny place can be easy to miss, as it is down some street-level stairs in a basement location in downtown Fayetteville. You will be missing out if you let the location and size of this place deter you; it's actually kind of neat down there in that little 'hole' and the food is terrific!
