My family stopped at Hugo's for lunch on a Diamond Hog weekend this past May. Although busy on a Saturday lunch hour we were seated quickly. When I hear Hugo's I immediately think of burgers but they also have a good selection of other sandwiches as well as savory crepes and quiche. They also have a large order of hand... More

Came to town for a visit to my acupuncturist. I love Fayetteville. Found this restaurant on trip advisor. Service was great even during lunch rush. My husband had the fish and loved their home made tartar sauce. I had the pastrami sandwich. It was good. The bar is in an old underground building downtown. Atmosphere ok, food good but great... Burgers are really good but expensive for the size and lack of decent side. Cheap, greasy potato chips are always a disappointment compared to the burger. The fry basket is good. But again expensive for what you get. But by far the appetizers were one of the worst I've ever had. I read an earlier review that warned against the... More

I'm a difficult diner. I love good food (both hi and low brow) but am gluten free, don't drink alcohol and can't eat onions. On a recent business trip to Fayetteville I was dining solo and was told Hugo's was THE place to go for a good burger and fries. I sat at the bar and the man who served... More

I went to Hugo's for the first time when I was an undergrad at the U of A and I've been going ever since. This is my birthday destination. You see, if you mention it's your birthday, they will give you one of their delicious Grasshopper Crepes. All the burgers are DELISH and they are reasonably priced. If you're going... More

Our son goes to the U of A and took us here on a weekend visit. It happened to be the day of the Arkansas-LSU football game so we did have to wait about 30 minutes. This is a teeny hole in the wall place in a basement but with a super fun vibe and worth a visit. The service... More

Hugo's is totally unique from the underground entrance to the tight, noisy environment. The burgers are absolutely terrific and real, fresh potato fries and a cool tall one. Service is good and friendly. I have eaten in a lot of 5 star restaurants, but this is a 5 stars burger joint.

Ate lunch here today. Thank goodness we got there about the time they opened because it got packed very quickly. We were very hungry, so we started with the chips and guacamole. Skip it. Guacamole was bland and the chips were just round tostitos or something. I had a cheeseburger and my husband had the catfish po boy. We also... More

First, the service is fantastic. The wait staff is curt and accommodating at the same time. They really hustle around. Love going here in the winter months because it's essentially a basement. Not an option if you want to sit outside to eat. It's not the best burger you've ever had, but it's a really solid burger. The Friday special,... More
