We ate dinner at Hugo's and the atmosphere was great...not too loud or noisy. I had the catfish poboy which was okay, but not the best. I don't eat any meat other than fish, but my friends all ordered burgers and raved about them! Nice selection of beers!

A local favorite that has been around for many years. The front door is down stairs from the sidewalk on the square in Fayetteville so it definitely has a cooler entrance than most other places in town. Inside you will find the decor is all old things that have been hanging there for 50+ years...in the best way. Authentic charm... More

Quaint place, hard to find if you have never been there. The locals love it, burgers are as good as it gets and a nice selection of beers as well.

We've eaten here several times over the years and have always been well-fed at a fair cost. Usually, we order a burger and crepes, both of which are delicious, and the dessert crepes too. The atmosphere is cute, it's in a basement, but the lighting can make it difficult to read the menus without using a cell phone to illuminate... More

Most folks flock to Hugo's for their burgers, fresh cut fries and huge sandwich offerings. Whatever you try-it's all superb. I love fish and often try to eat light/healthy, so you'd think a Burger Mecca like Hugo's might leave one high and dry. Fear not fellow minded lovers of the harvest of cold waters. The grilled trout served with a... More

Food was ok. Tried the blue moon burger and fries. Mint chocolate chip crepes were ok. They were so different it made them a novelty to have. The place is packed. Get there before 5:45 or you will wait. Place is small. Worth going to just to see the underground restaurant.

Unique place with the best burgers ever. Go when it opens,or expect to wait for a seat. Service is good. Decor is basement dingy but that's part of the atmosphere.

Tried and true gut bomb of a burger. You know it going in so regretful, but totally worth it. Not had a bad burger here in
