I stopped at La Hacienda with my family for an afternoon snack before a Diamond Hog game this past May. It was enjoyable sitting out on the second floor patio overlooking Baum Field. The chips and salsa were very good as was their cheese dip. However, their fish tacos left a lot to be desired. The fish was torn into... More

Service was acceptable and timely, but the food was typical Americanized Mexican food. Nothing was exceptional, wouldn't go back.

We were at La Hacienda 2, our food was over cooked, dry and tasteless. The serving size was down right small and the rice and refried beans were burned. I cannot recommend La Hacienda 2. Can't speak to the original location. I live in south Texas and know authentic Mexican/Southwestern food - this is not it.

Once again, a wonderful little Mexican restaurant has switched to crappy food after establishing its clientele. Used to love this place. I know, I say the same thing about Mexican restaurants every time. But it's not just me. They start out great and then the homemade food turns into prepared stuff and it's never the same.

When the tortilla bowl that the taco salad is served in is better than what is inside the bowl, that's not my idea of a good meal.

This was my second and final visit. I gave them another chance because it's always packed and I thought maybe I was missing something. The staff was friendly so my rating is primarily the food. First off, it was colder. The cheese on my nachos was not even melted, the chips were greasy and chewy, and my entree was cold... More

Clean & welcoming restaurant on the top floor of a fairly new strip mall adjacent to the Staybridge Suites. Extensive menu which offers not only "the usual" Mexican fare but also a variety of healthy and vegetarian options. The service is outstanding, the margaritas are delicious.

Small quaint restaurant that looks and sounds like the real deal. The best thing is that food taste that real. The servers are very friendly and helpful. Plenty of chips and a variety of salsa. A good place!

My husband and I had lunch for the first time at La Hacienda and were impressed. The food was made with fresh ingredients. We both loved the three different salsas served. We shared the lunch portion of Pollo Loco and were completely satisfied. The service was good and we received our food within a few minutes of ordering. The homemade... More
