Lunch specials are excellent. They have great food and great service. Quick turnaround on lunch and all the salsa and chips you can stand! Many lunch specials under $5 and close to the University of Arkansas. It's a favorite among faculty, staff and students for sure!

To and from Little Rock my parnter and I ate at Mexico Viejo twice. The service and kitchen was always on top of their game. The food was very good. The best part was the salsa. I ate in Mexican restaurants throughout this country in my travels and the best salsa was here at Mexico Viejo! If I lived here... More

Went there on Sunday night with a party of 7 people. Seated right away with basket of fresh, hot chips & salsa. Our waiter was prompt and efficient bringing us our drinks. Everyone in our party ordered a different entree and we were all pleased with the outcome. Beef fajitas, enchilada verde, burritos, enchiladas and Steven's special all recommended. Dinner... More

The servings were large and they had a lot of meat. Atmosphere was really good. A lot of people were there, but the service was timely.

OK I live in Mexico and the very day I fly in, I eat at Viejo. Great salsa and cheese dip. Large beer for great price and the food is always good and plenty of it. My daughter loves the margaritas.

Owned (or at least it was) by the same people from La Huerta, Viejo offers pretty much the same menu as La Huerta but its somehow more expensive. As stated by other reviewers, the service is lacking and for some reason what takes La Huerta just a few minutes to get out, it takes Viejo quite a bit longer. If... More

the food here is just that average...it is affordable though I can see why college kids eat here and margaritas aren't super expensive. The food though is ok. Service is good.
