We called in here for lunch last week and were very pleasantly impressed. We were a family group of five. We were welcomed warmly and shown to our table. The menu was not huge but had a good variety of foods. I and my children were particularly pleased that there was no typical childrens menu instead half portions of the... More

I was here about 7 months previous and had a really good lunch, this is why returned as my first visit was more than I expected from a sleepy village 'cafe'. Unfortunately the second visit did not reflect the first. I was waiting for my car to be serviced and I knew it was to take about an hour and... More

We stopped here after a visit to Newgrange. Quirky little place with loads of character. Friendly staff who treated us well. Several locals enjoying lunch here too so we knew it must be good. On a scale of 10, the fish and chips were tops.

Dropped in here on the way through Slane for lunch with no expectations except to get a sandwich. Prawn and Pastrami open sandwiches were outstanding. Really great and amazing value.

Everytime I go its busy... More
