Lovely food and so cozy.

A wonderful, friendly place to recharge with fabulous staff, food and amazing coffee. Unfortunately we've only ever visited in the Winter and the fog has hidden the views I have been looking forward to seeing, so really cant wait to revisit in the spring. A wonderful, friendly place to recharge with fabulous staff, food and amazing coffee. Unfortunately we've only ever visited in the Winter and the fog has hidden the views I have been looking forward to seeing, so really cant wait to revisit in the spring. The food is wholesome and very tasty, if a bit over priced but worth it on... More

I love to go to Maguires for a treat! Food is excellent, although it is EXTREMELY overpriced! Staff are friendly and atmosphere is great! Although, it can get very loud and hard to hear your company!

I eat here Quite regularly as I am A tour Guide and Always bring my Clients here when I can. My Clients are from All over the World with different tastes and I have Never heard a Bad comment on the Food and Service. With Locally Sourced foods and a Friendly Service. The Menu Caters for all. Let it be... More

Considering this cafe is beside a very busy tourist attraction, I was pleasantly surprised to find it warm, cozy & friendly. The food is very good, lovely fresh ingredients & full of flavour. I have been back a few times now & each time it has been as good. It can get very busy at lunchtime, so I usually make... More

During my recent trip to Ireland staying with friends that live nearby we had lunch here. I must say it was very enjoyable!! We had a short wait before we were seated but the wait was worth it. The welcome was warm and friendly. It had a lovely atmosphere!!! The food was great and the service was excellent by very... More

A perfect café to have a full meal, a hearty snack, or a lovely pot of tea. Bottled local brewed beer is a welcome addition to the menu. I enjoyed the locally caught trout on a bed of leeks and mash. Service was cheerful and spot on. And of course the Hill of Tara provides all the atmosphere one could... More

I go here quite a lot throughout the year. I enjoy walking the Hill of Tara and the small woods and afterwards will have a bite to eat with one of my children or if I'm meeting friends for a leisurely lunch I like to go here. What I like is the atmosphere, the look inside of the cafe is... More

I live quite local and have been wire a few times. Recently I have noticed the lotions have decreased. Open prawn sandwich consists of the small cheap shrimp on 1.5 slices of brown bread. Not even two slices. When I asked for another slice I was charged for this. Salads half the size of others served in local cafés. Food... More

If you go to the Hill of Tara, this is really the only shop on site, but it’s really very nice. Just when you think you’ve seen every souvenir in Ireland, you find a shop that has something different. Adjacent to the shop is the café. We had tea and a couple of desserts. They were very good and the... More

A warm welcome and friendly service for all in the function room following a well attended funeral on Monday 15 September. Plenty of parking available and suitable for children.
