Heavenly perfect

Excellent food... just AMAZING!!! Everything was super tasty, creative cuisine with finesse. Even coffee was one of the best I've had. Wonderful and friendly service. Cosy interior design and atmospheric music. Overall the best experience ever, really I would highly recommend it!!!

Pre booked table by internet as my husband and I were in carlingford for the weekend and had heard great reports about this restaurant . We were a couple of minutes late for our sitting when we received a phone call from the restaurant saying that our table would no longer be available as they were very busy,we said that... More

Strange non existent customer. Booked a table for 6pm, had to ring them at 6.45 to find out if they were coming. Told us they would be here 7.30. We were not able to hold the table as somebody else booked it. Not sure why they would be upset. Then wrote a tripadvisor review which i responded too. She then... More

The restaurant is lovely tables well spaced. The menu is a good mix which should please most palate's. And desserts are divine .. The portions are good but not so much that you haven't room for all . I would not hesitate to recommend The Bay Tree for that special dinner or Sunday lunch .. Enjoy

Decided to stop at Carlingford on the way back from Dublin and a local boutique recommended the Bay Tree. What a meal! the fodd was excellent, the best steak we have eaten for a long time and the fish cakes were tasty and light as a feather. The whole meal and the service was first class and well worth the... More

The food for every course was fantastic! I had a crispy duck starter full of flavour and presented beautifully! I had beef for the main which fell apart on some potato puree. Well worth a visit and right in the centre of the town. Would definitely visit again. (Unfortunately, I didn’t get the name of our server, the tall blond... More

A small party of us visited the restaurant on a Friday night, had a brilliant night with great food and service. The duck samosas are delicious! We got a three course meal for 35 euro which is really reasonable, all the courses are of a good portion and was left very satisfied with the meal! Really enjoyed our night out... More

6 of us turned up - pre booked of course / staff friendly and accommodating even though they were under pressure from 2 hen night groups running late and still there. Lovely food - we all had something different ( nearly all) so from the oysters in garlic to the most gorgeous of steaks cooked perfectly to your liking it's... More
