Been a number of times over the past 30 years. Great oysters. Lots of traditional faire also. Good portions. Nice chowder lots of seafood. Beer Garden in summer has lots of live music blues, traditional all sorts. Can't go wrong.

a small pub with food searved. looking at the menu it looked to be average value. Small and winding areas - you could be walking around it and miss someone you are supposed to meet. Toilets outside.

I have visited PJ O'Hares on many occasions as a younger child with my family and I visited again on Saturday night for my aunt's 60th Birthday. All of us were realyl impressed with our food- my steak was perfect and the portions were huge so good value for money. Drinks were not expensive - 20euro got a glass of... More

We arrived to O'hares for lunch and my god I can only describe the bar outside as absolutely dreadful ...think its called PJ's. ..Firstly the ground was filthy with bits of food just left on the ground..when you got your table nobody cleaned the table or emptied the full ashtrays on the table and as for the serving staff.....well in... In response to your terrible review, I have spoken with the manager and the chefs on duty that day about your complaints. I am AGHAST as to why you didn’t bring ANY of these alleged serious complaints to any staff members attention. Instead, you opted to continue to dine here, without informing any staff member of any of your complaints.... More

We had to wait on a table which is always a good sign, but while we where waiting we had the very talented Sugartown RoadBand to entertain us they are really good. Back in for our table only a 20 min wait I had the steak, med/well done cooked to perfection with all the trimmings pepper sauce chunky chips and... More

Went to PJ O,Hares recently for lunch and the food was great. We had to wait for short time for a table but the staff treated us very well and we got the first available table. The food arrived within a short time of being ordered and was great value. Well worth a visit.
