Missed the first night of the group dinner but otherwise all intact. I am a foodie but there was a definite love on the plate. All I can say is yum yum

Been several times with my family, always good food and great atmosphere, Dog friendly so we can enjoy a drink and food after a walk with our four legged friend.

I've been coming here over 31 years. I remember PJ and the leprechaun hunt. Lovely the way it has been refurbished and developed yet the old bar is still the same. Best pub grub in county Louth 3 years in a row. Why go anywhere else?

We normally go there once a year and two of the staff remember us. The best welcome ever and what you would expect from a traditional Irish pub. The soup is delicious as is the Guinness. I can't wait till next year until we're back. Absolutely love the place!

Called in for lunch with my husband and three year old son. Juicy steak, which got a thumbs up, fresh fish and a pasta dish which my son wolfed down. We all had a lovely lunch and drinks. Nice atmosphere on a winters day with a cosy fire burning. We will be back.

We visited this pub/restaurant over Christmas, pub was very busy, The service was very efficient, we had seafood chowder which had lots of fish and was very tasty. Chowder was served with lovely brown bread. Also I had one of the best hot ports in a long while. I would recommend visiting O'Hares whilst in Carlingford.

A crowd of friends decided to have a night out here. To start with I had a great meal there. Chicken goujons and chips very tasty. The bar itself is huge with different sections. One section had a dj and dance floor and the other was quieter. Definitely will revisit the bar hopefully in the summer.

Have been here twice, both sunny days when we were able to sit outside with the sun beaming down on us. Service was quite good and waiters were friendly and the food was very tasty and plentiful . It is a great place for family of friends and of course there is plenty to see in Carlingford village.

PJ's is a fairly nice pub for both eating and drinking, especially in the summer when the beer garden is actually a viable option. The food portions can be rather large and most would probably be satisfied with just a starter. I've been here many times for both food and drink. The downside of PJ's is when, on the weekends,... We arrived at 7.30pm, sat at a table and were attended to almost immediately by a lovely lass. Starters arrived promptly I had Calamari and my partner had Soup, both were very good. The main course arrived in reasonable time. I had Turkey and ham with trimmings and partner had Goujons, this is where the problems began. The ham had... More
