Very Expensive Price for Very Average Food

Nice décor and layout but that's no excuse to charge such ridiculous prices for such average food. The waitresses are friendly here but the manager is not. He could take a leaf out of their book. If he serves you, don't expect him to be flexible in any way with the menu. If it states that a certain... read more

Ordered a takeaway and it took 90 mins from the time I ordered to get to me (35 mins after the time they told me) and it was freezing.

The restaurant looks good and it is large. A male waiter who appeared to be the manager (by the way he was giving orders to staff) greeted us and looked up our reservation. We had a voucher which he then asked for and quickly walked us to our table and gave us menus. The first thing I noticed was that... More

The restaurant is tidy and well-presented. There are two menus, Indian and Thai - I ate from the Thai. The food was nothing special, but it was tasty and it was nice to have brown rice as an option. The wait staff were solicitous - it helped that the place was very quiet when I was there - but not... More

Myself and a friend visited one night for food and a catch up. The restaurant was quite empty but that didn't matter. The waiter was lovely and we both opted for the Thai menu. I opted for chicken basil and it was really tasty. My friend had the chicken cashew nut and said it was very nice. It's very reasonable... More

Great position inside the Glenroyal Hotel - good selection of food for all taste buds. I opted for Thai as did my husband- tasty starters and main courses . Very generous portion sizes .

We were staying at the hotel, and there were signs for 2 restaurants ‘Bombay Spice’ and ‘Lan Tania’. We had to ask were the Indian was and discovered that they were one and the same. I normally avoid Thai restaurants as I am highly allergic to coconut. As it was late and I had my child with me I decided... More

We got a voucher worth €40 that cost us €20 to buy. When we were finished our meal came to an extra €18.90 (58.90 in total) the food here is lovely no doubt, but just a bit more expensive than most restaurants in the town. My boyfriend got a started, we both got mains and then we shared a desert.... More

I liked the layout and the decor. The tables for 2 was a good size with plenty of room for plates and drinks. The menu is the usual Indian or Thai. There was 3 staff on, two girls who we very helpful and pleasant but the Manager was not very user friendly. He could do with an injection of personality.... More

Recently ordered a takeaway from here. The order arrived in good time and hot but the quality was poor. The Pad Thai was tasteless and overcooked. Maybe the restaurant has better quality food.
