Nothing unusual.

I liked the layout and the decor. The tables for 2 was a good size with plenty of room for plates and drinks. The menu is the usual Indian or Thai. There was 3 staff on, two girls who we very helpful and pleasant but the Manager was not very user friendly. He could do with an injection of... read more

Great position inside the Glenroyal Hotel - good selection of food for all taste buds. I opted for Thai as did my husband- tasty starters and main courses . Very generous portion sizes .

We were staying at the hotel, and there were signs for 2 restaurants ‘Bombay Spice’ and ‘Lan Tania’. We had to ask were the Indian was and discovered that they were one and the same. I normally avoid Thai restaurants as I am highly allergic to coconut. As it was late and I had my child with me I decided... More

We got a voucher worth €40 that cost us €20 to buy. When we were finished our meal came to an extra €18.90 (58.90 in total) the food here is lovely no doubt, but just a bit more expensive than most restaurants in the town. My boyfriend got a started, we both got mains and then we shared a desert.... More

Recently ordered a takeaway from here. The order arrived in good time and hot but the quality was poor. The Pad Thai was tasteless and overcooked. Maybe the restaurant has better quality food.

The immediate dilemma that Lan Tania presents is as to whether to choose from the Thai or the Indian menu. Both options are presented via two completely separate menus, which can make handing out the menus a bit cumbersome, but certainly will cater for all tastes. We went for a mixed platter starter from each menu and were very impressed... More

We had a very enjoyable evening at Lan Tania during a recent visit to my home town. The service was a bit "hit and miss" even though the restaurant was not at all busy. We had to ask for water three times but the food made up for this as it was very good. I had the red chicken curry... More

I ate at this restaurant at my first night at the Glenroyal hotel. It looked good, but you never know with 'out of town' hotels...the menu choice (a la carte) is a full thai menu and a full indian one. There is no indication of hotness on the menu though - I had to ask. As a self-confessed curry snob,... More

Lovely, comfortable venue with friendly staff. I had Indian starter and main and it was delicious. Partner choose Thai starter & main and was very disappointed in both of his choices!! We decided against dessert. Coffee was ok.
