I like spicy, mild-spicy, sour and spicy and sour and sweet food. This is the emblem of Asia taste, especially the Thai Food. Lan Tania Thai Restaurant at Maynooth, Co. Kildare, is the great place to taste the mouth-watering Thai Foods. Red curry, Green curry, stir-fried duck and seafood are the yummy dishes among other delicious food. One of my... More

First off it is very overpriced for what it is. Over 8 euros for a pint bottle of beer is completely over the top. The food was ok, starter of fishcakes was rubbery enough but the taste was fine. The main course though - awful lamb, not a lot of meat, not much rice, and nothing much by way of... More

Had supper there, and was the only person in the restaurant. The food was good, but not exceptional. The service was good - attentive but not overbearing. The decor was good, and everything was clean, neat and tidy. I did think that the food was very expensive for what was an average meal however. Given the number of restuarants in... More

My name is ALex, I and my girlfriend was in the restaurant in the last weekend the restaurant was quiet busy, as we went in we were welcomed with a smile and given the table beside the window it was quiet good place to seat. I ordered Nasigoreng and my girlfriend ordered green chicken curry both the dishes were very... More

Food was overpriced. We stayed in the Glenroyal and they overcharged us as the prices on the menu in room were lower than price in restaurant. Food was congealed and unappetizing. Poor value for money and also found a long black hair in my food. Disgraceful

After having eaten half of my nasi goreng i discovered a mass of raw egg in the middle - upon closer inspection the prawns were under cooked also. Two doctor trips and a lot of pain later i attempted to contact the restaurant manager by phone a number of times but he was never available to take my call. I... More

We got delivery from the restaurant several times. Most times they forgot our drinks or deliver them with the hot food, once the curry was poorly packed an arrived with nearly no sauce left. Whatever we salvaged from the food we got was tasty

Lan Tania was quite possibly the worst dining experience I have had in years. In fact I was shocked at how terrible the food we were served was particularly given the fact that they also know how to charge for it. Starter was most centainly taken out of a bag and deep fried and the main course was cold, and... More
