Great food & wonderful family room

Had 2 days of surfing at New Years and stayed in this gem of a B&B. There were 3 of us, so we got their family room which was plenty big and had amazing views of the surf too. The room was warm and cosy. We usually stay in the hotel up the road but now the Gaslight is our... read more

My husband & I stayed here for surfing and having a restful weekend. We were cold on the way back to the B&B and found immediate comfort entering in the place! So cosy! I felt home since the start till the end. Food was delicious. Staff very attentive. We had a great room with Sea view like a 5 stars... More

We ate here for family birthday meal and the food was truly amazing! All of the seafood in particular was gorgeous and the staff handled all of ours requests extremely well, recommending drinks and making cocktails which arent on the menu, and treating us with great service. The view outside is lovely and I woul recommend this place to anyone.

We stayed here in low seaon and the food was incredible. Went back in high season but didn't stay - it was just too busy. Can't fault a place that is too popular. But for me I will return again when it is quieter.

Myself, my mother and my girlfriend stopped in for a light lunch, We had with us a 10month old who'd been having a less than stellar morning having refused his breakfast and was about 2hours overdue for his nap but showing no intentions of tiring. we got into the gaslight just as they were opening, but this didn't phase our... Headed in for a spot of lunch, and we were actually directed towards Smugglers, but since it was stuffed with people we went next door instead. Nice crowd in here also but were seated immediately, right under a TV so himself was happy watching a match, and yet we still had a great view of the sea and the waves... More

I had heard about this place from several place, and was dying to eat there. My friend and I turned up and it was heaving, but they managed to find us a table. The atmosphere was brilliant, the view was stunning and the food was delicious, but the best thing about the place was the staff. They were unfailingly lovely,... More

One of the best places we have ever visited & definitely will return for a longer stay soon. Made very welcome by Anthony, went to sleep to the sound of the breakers, breakfast looking out over the sea & a really good "feel" to the whole place.

A glorious view of the bay to accompany smiling service and good food from a broad menu. Loved the chicken wings and the sea bass.
