I had heard about this place from several place, and was dying to eat there. My friend and I turned up and it was heaving, but they managed to find us a table. The atmosphere was brilliant, the view was stunning and the food was delicious, but the best thing about the place was the staff. They were unfailingly lovely,... More

One of the best places we have ever visited & definitely will return for a longer stay soon. Made very welcome by Anthony, went to sleep to the sound of the breakers, breakfast looking out over the sea & a really good "feel" to the whole place.

A glorious view of the bay to accompany smiling service and good food from a broad menu. Loved the chicken wings and the sea bass.

Beautiful seaside restaurant and hotel. Lovely staff and very child friendly. Delighted to be here hottest day of the year. Fabulous fish and chips and apple pie. A must for anyone by the sea who wants a nice lunch and the most stunning views.

Worst steak I've ever had, the bushmills sauce was gloopy and only tasted of bushmills. My family and I dined here in July 2015 and everyone of us were disappointed, even the kids. I had the sirloin steak and could only manage half of it the rest was full of tough sinew and the sauce was disgusting. We went to... More

Our family w 3 boys stayed here and were impressed from the moment we arrived .. It casual, very clean and owners Pauline and Anthony very welcoming. They really made the effort so that stay was enjoyed by all in our family .. Even giving us a selection of decent DVD's for the kids. They do take the business seriously... More

We stayed overnight at the Gaslight and were given a truly warm welcome from Paula and Anthony. The restaurant overlooks the stunning Rossnowlagh beach framed by the beautiful Blue Stack Mountains. Our evening meal was excellent and our accommodation comfortable even though it's not very contemporary. Breakfast did not disappoint and set us up for our onward travels.

We decided on the Gaslight Inn after a walk on Rossnowlagh beach on a Sunday afternoon in August. We had no booking but staff accommodated us immediately. The atmosphere is lovely in this pub/restaurant, staff were friendly but the view was breathtaking. It is simply one of the best views from a restaurant in Ireland. We shared the thick, creamy,... On paper, this restaurant looks to have it all: one of the most striking views of any restaurant in Ireland // a clean and beautiful interior // a very friendly and welcoming staff // rooms if you would like to stay // and a very attractive menu. The pity for us on this occasion was that it was let down... More
