She explained the various sandwiches on the menu and even went to the trouble to check with the kitchen which brand of gluten free bread they have as the quality of GF bread varies from one manufacturer to another. As it happens, the... More

Food and service were great. It's a lovely thatched cottage so feels very quaint. The outdoor seating area is absolutely beautiful on a warm summer's day as there's a pretty stream at the end of it. Really enjoyed my visit! Oh, and the cocktails are a MUST!

I ate here with my wife recently. It was a really nice place to stop for a quick lunch while on the road. The service was friendly and efficient. The addition of service bells on the tables is a great touch not that they were needed. The food was good quality, well prepared and reasonable priced. The interior is nice... More

We arrived at One o clock and were surprised to see such a big crowd in the restaurant . There were lots of Communion groups. We got a table by the stove in the bar and were dealt with straight away by the staff.I found the board very hard to read but got there in the end.We had two roasts. Both arrived... When in Ireland we make a point of visiting this place. We often stay just up the road from there and have made it our local. It is a great place to eat, warm and friendly. The service is really good and the meals are excellent.. The staff always have time for you and it's obviously popular with the locals... More
