I often go to that restaurant and waiter and waitress are always very friendly. Everything I have tried is very tasty and if you don't like spicy food (hot) you can always ask for the same meal but mild (not spicy) Red curry, yellow curry, spring rolls, duck in honey sauce are all very good dishes. I highly recommend it.... More

The food at this Restaurant used to be okay, but now it has really dropped to poor. The food was never amazing as it is not authentic Thai food, they serve frozen pre-prepared (and possibly pre-bought) starters, frozen chips and use chilli flakes instead of fresh chillies. None of the ingredients are very fresh either, if at all. We have... More

This place is really nice for lunch. You might want to reserve your table as it's always busy, especially on Fridays. Very good food, nice atmosphere and good prices.

Fancied something a little different and we used trip advisor to get some reviews. We liked the review from this restaurant so decided to give it a try. Food was lovely and fresh and the portions sizes were very big. Both of us order the homemade curries at different strenghts and wow....you have to go and try for yourself. The... More

Ok so its the only Thai in Ballincollig these days, but it's still very good. We went here one friday when we had no other restaurant booked and it was late(ish). No problem getting a table as most of the business seems to be take away, the restaurant itself was fairly standard neither too big or too small with the... More

This was our second visit to Banna Thai in Ballincollig and it was just beautiful. My boyfriend ordered the chicken satay to start and loved it. It was a big size too so you could share it. I am a Vegetarian and got the pad thai noodles they were unreal!!!So tasty and the portion was huge! The flavours were amazing... More

I've always had lovely meals here. The place is spacious and clean, usually no problem getting a parking space, the waitresses are friendly and efficient and the food is great..although a little pricey. I've never been disappointed here. Be careful of the really spicey dishes though...because I think they ARE just that...VERY spicey....I go for mild dished myself.

I've been to this restaurant many times and the only dishes that is nice are the curries. The chips served as a side are unfortunately frozen, which is very off-putting as it doesn't take long to make homemade chips. The red, green and spicy rich curries are all nice, but there is no place for pineapple in Thai curries. When... More

Banna Thai in Ballincollig is consistently the best restaurant in the locality. I regularly visit for lunch and the quality is always first classs. A substantial main course with coffeee for less than €10.
