Back to the future!

A quaint little Italian that makes you feel like your in Italy. Great food with tasty minestrone and cracking calzone. Not terribly busy, 1 chef and 1 waitress on a Saturday night, the service was good and quick for 2 staff members, warm and welcoming. Loved the cosy ambience and my cannelloni was... read more

This place is a must have without a question. This really is your old fashioned Italian restaurant. It was tough to decide which of the yummy pizza to order . So many choices and so little time we had. We were in Carrigaline only for few nights. This is an innovative restaurant concept in a lovely private home setting, with... More

Ohh my God. This is the best Italian restaurant that I have eaten in so long. I can't believe those negative reviews about this place.. I was there with my mum and daughter. We had amazing time. Cozze ala marinara is just yummy. For main course I had spaghetti alla Bolognese, it is as good as I had I'm sicily.... More

I have tried this restaurant a couple of times as I live locally and love Italian food, but on each occasion I have been disappointed by the lack of quality and flavour in the food ordered and will not go back again. On both occasions I ate with friends and family, and we all left with the same opinion. Bruschetta... More

How you doing? I am quiet disappointed to hear that you claim to be chef and know about Italian food, than off all the people you should know that if are not satisfied with our Bruschetta you should have raised the issue with us instead of us hearing about it in TripAdvisor. It is one of my top priorities to... More

Always a pleasure to return to Antonio and his staff with my family and friends for the quality of food and service. My first 'port of call' upon a return from a day out in Cork city.

I would not recommend this restaurant. Me and my friend came in, the staff was lovely but as we were walking to our table, I could see how filthy the place was. I'd say the window sills haven't been dusted nor cleaned in the last year. Then I got my meal, first thing that I noticed was this kinda short... More

Can I just say here that review that you have written about my restaurant is absolutely telling the fibs about our place. Do you know how i know this? You claiming that you found short black hair in the food. I can prove you that in the last 10 years my hair is long. I am the only chef here... More

Ate here while staying in Carrigaline, food was tasty enough, lovely Italian aromas, but just felt a little unkept. Also got a house white wine in a jug not good. Would not return.

Segnor, they are called wine carafe. They are two different things..If you order half bottle of wine that is how you will get served in Ireland. Thank you for your visit anyway.. More
