I honestly don't know how such a tiny, cluttered restaurant put out such delicious dishes so fast (and they've been ribbingly called the "SLO-asis"). Cook was a little overwhelmed but when I asked what was good our waitress easily joked that they'd already taken all the bad stuff off the menu! Unique, scrumptious tastes in our salad, beans, and enchiladas:... More

I begrudgingly give this review because I love this place and don't want it to be packed with tourist... Anyway the food is so fresh they get it from the local growers and it has a nice hippy vibe. Don't be in a hurry it's very casual and a fun place to eat. Vegi and vegan friendly. A great Eureka... More

You guys, this place is seriously a s***hole on the inside. We walked in and I instantly started to panic. Old yellowing posters and flyers everywhere, the tables that no matter how much you clean them they still look dirty, and a dust plant above our table. The plant literally was cloaked in an inch of dust just waiting to... More

This place is small, but perfect for lunch for 2. They can do gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian, and vegan. The staff is friendly, funny, and funky. AND THE FOOD IS PHENOMENAL!!! Curried eggplant enchiladas. Sweet potato and black bean enchiladas. Fresh mole. Homemade salsa from fresh, locally grown veggies. Recommended on the menu? Anything that catches your eye...it's all... More

The ambiance is an acquired taste. This is a tiny spot, hidden away down some stairs from Spring St. You have to be a contortionist to use the restroom. Just a few tables. But don't let this scare you, because the food is definitely worth it. I guess they call it Ark-Mex, it's Mexican with a hippie twist. Lots of... More

Small and funky. Not for the conservative diners, but more bohemian for the laid back and open minded -- especially the bathroom, which involves stepping up to the toilet in an awkward maneuver. THE BEST FRESH FOOD EVER -- We have breakfast here every time we go to Eureka and have sine 1991 -- would not miss it. Simple home... More

Over heard a couple come out and say "that was very good." Decided to give it a try. Have to go down some steps to enter the place. This place is not handicap friendly. Learned it is only open four hours a day; 10 AM to 2 PM, breakfast/brunch the first two hours. The restaurant is very tight quarters. Eight... More

We would have never seen this place if it wasn't recommended to us by some locals. The decor was old and the restaurant was tiny. The food was very good. We would eat here again. The super nachos were yummy and the veggie fajita was so delicious .

This is a tiny operation. I enjoyed the food more than my husband. Loved the Salsa, but the chips were a little thick. You need to know that you will be charged for the Salsa and Chips. My husband and I both got the Cheese enchiladas. It took a while to get them because she made them to order and... More

We had lunch there on a Saturday. They were very busy, it would be worth the wait. Be sure to order their homemade salsa. Also, check the board on the wall for daily specials! Our food experience was incredible. If you enjoy drinks with your meal, no alcohol!!!! We will definitely return!!!!
