Fun and Quirky place to eat! Local's recommended this to us!

The most awesome and quirky place to eat. You have to be in the know to find this place or you will miss it! We love the fresh ingredients and vegetarian options. The salsa is fantastic! They don't accept cards, but there's an ATM around the corner on Spring street that's close by. So come... read more

My open faced taco was really good, but my friend's pork tamales weren't good or bad, they just tasted like nothing...like they forgot to add any seasoning or salt at all. The green salsa is killer. Would like it if they made their own chips, that'd make it even better, but the salsa is some of the best you will... More

Go here with an open mind and enjoy. This is a unique restaurant in just as unique little Victorian city. This restaurant is hard to find and is literally tucked away down some stairs and in the side of an ancient wall. The hours are short so you will have to eat lunch there. Closed around 2:00 I think. If... More

The Oasis has moved - still located between Spring & Center Streets, just a block or so south - still unique, fun and funky, but lots more tables and larger bathroom(s)! The food and service remain, as usual, EXCELLENT !! Not to be missed if you're visiting Downtown.

Absolutely delicious!! We try to go to Eureka at least once every few months and finally gave this place a try on our last trip. I wish we had of gone sooner!! I've truly been craving it since we were there. We both ordered off the specials menu - for the life of me I cannot remember the exact dishes... More

This is a fun bohemian vibe. Small place but very worth the time to wait for home style meal. The salsa Verde is outstanding. We had the lunch platter and wow great portions. The chicken and bean burrito was great served with a salad. Very good blend of styles neat twist. Fun little get away down the stairs.

Although the enchiladas were great, the chips were stale and the beans were not seasoned at all. Great salsa, very nice staff.

Let me start off with the positive, the salsa was great. Outstanding. Unfortunately the salsa came with generic Tostitos styled round chips. My dish was good, if not outstanding. There were two items on the specialty menu that sounded great, but they were unfortunately out of and I am let down that I didn't get to try them. Maybe next... More

I ordered the daily special which was a sweet potato and black bean burrito if I remember correctly. It was prepared as we chatted with the owner. The food was delicious! YUM!

I am from Texas and I LOVE my Mexican food. I also love this place. It is not your Tex-Mex or typical Mexican food. It is more healthier version...and fresher version. If you are looking for favor and home-cooked Mexican type food, this is your place. And if you want a bargain...you have come to the right place. They will... More
