We love everything about Mud Street: the atmosphere, the location, the staff, the food, and the Trivial Pursuit cards on the tables to pass the time. Greek omelets are amazing, and if I could go to Eureka every morning just to have coffee at Mud Street, I would!

When my husband and I travel it is very unlikely we will eat at the same restaurant twice in one trip; but, we actually ate here two days in a row because we enjoyed the breakfast so much! This is a great place to eat and just relax. The wait staff are excellent, the menu is outstanding and the coffee... More

Mud Street Cafe is literally in underground Eureka Springs Arkansas. Set 15 to 20 feet below current Street level from years of mud slides early in the history of Eureka Springs. Always great service, eclectic menu, great coffee and desserts. For me they have a wonderful Reuben sandwich and hand cut fries. This is a must stop when visiting Eureka.

We visited just a day after the "Mardi Gras" celebration ended, so some downtown restaurants were closed. We were turned on to a little basement restaurant (don't let the location dissuade you) called the Mud Street Cafe. It was, by far, the best dining experience we had in Eureka Springs. The food was plentiful and tasty, the atmosphere was cozy... More

The food is always fresh and delicious, the coffe is very good and the desserts are dangerous! You won't want to pass on their delicious desserts. :-) We've alway's found the service... More

As a local, I consider Mud Street Cafe a favorite "go to" for breakfast or lunch. Their coffee is divine, all the food is very good, and the service is genuinely friendly.I love the hummus salad at lunchtime. You'll see lots of locals at this subterranean grotto! (Save room for their luscious desserts!)

Neat atmosphere; great food at good prices. I've had breakfast here several times and am never disappointed. Great service.

I used to come here for breakfast several years ago...but the service and food started to suffer and I stopped coming. I just tried it again and was pleased to see that they have now recovered and are now serving good food and acceptable service. Be warned, they are very crowded at breakfast.

A little wait on the stairs to descend into this unique cafe and bar. It was worth the wait. No pancakes if you are late arriving (after 8 AM) and the crowd has beat you there. Scrumptious Chef Scramble and Ham and cheese omelet
