We stopped in for lunch. You have to walk downstairs to get there. We enjoyed our food which was pretty good. A nice stop after walking the hills of the town.

We ate here for breakfast. As soon as we were seated the hostess informed is there were no pancakes, and she handed us a card explaining why. I had the Mud Muffin, which was an English muffin (one of the best I have had) with eggs, cheese, tomatoes, onion, and black olives. It was very good. However, the bacon was... More

This cafe is located downstairs - at the original street level from the 1800's. Great food and neat atmosphere! Casual and chicken salad sandwich was fantastic!

It was pretty good, but kind of average. The sandwiches were just ham on white bread (I could have made that at home!) but the chili was well-seasoned and hearty. Coffee and dessert was the best part of the meal!

We love this place. You have to be on time (0800) to get pancakes, but early or late, it is always amazing. Wonderful atmosphere, great food, the best service in town. We have never eaten anything but breakfast, but I know they offer more. Fresh made muffins (always different) and sweet treats daily. Self service coffee :), and the list... More

Typically when we are on vacation or a special trip we choose different spots to stop and eat at each day, but the Mud Street Café deserved two visits. It is located right in the historic district down into the basement of some shoppes. We were pleasantly seated on a couch and ordered coffee drinks with a "kick". Just make... More

We ate breakfast at Mud Street Cafe twice on our recent visit to Eureka Springs. There is usually a line waiting when they open on weekends, and most folks are there for the pancakes. We missed them the on Saturday. They quit serving by the time we arrived at 8:15. We made sure we were the first ones there on... More

Based on other reviews, we looked forward to trying. Sunday morning, hostess was not happy to be there, semi rude seating us. We got to table and she quickly said 'no pancakes' and walked off. What? She comes back and literally slides us a preprinted note, 'read this (about no pancakes), I don't have time to explain!' Really?? Menu was... More

we went to mud street cafe for a quick snack. I got the cheese broccoli soup. My wife got the vegetable quiche. Soup was ok but a little runny. It's not on par with panera but one should not expect it to be I guess. Coffee was self serve. I guess they ran out of breakfast blend and never refilled... More

If you love breakfast then you need to go to the Mud Street Café when in town. It is downstairs and was packed the day we went but the services was excellent, the coffee was endless and you can even stop by later and get a cup of coffee. This is now on my list of places to eat in... More
