Having read the reviews and talking to locals we were expecting so much more than what we experienced. We ate breakfast here since we were staying at the motel and were very disappointed. Like others have said, the menu is very limited, the prices are high for what you get and the food average at best. The bill for 3... more

We went to Eureka Springs right after Christmas this year (2008) and stumbled across Myrtie Mae's. We were looking for a place to eat and saw the sign for this restaurant. I remembered seeing the name on the restaurant list when I was researching Eureka Springs so we stopped to eat there. We had lunch the first time and it... more

We went to Sunday Brunch on 10/26/ 2008, there were four of us and we put our name on the list to be seated. Not a long wait, were were seated next to the window overlooking treetops. I went with the buffet, plentiful bounty of fresh veggies, salads and the such. Carved ham, an omelet station, fried chicken, mashed potatoes,... more

This place has always had a great reputation for breakfast, but frankly, I think the Mud Street Cafe blows it away. The service was mediocre and certainly not very friendly. We often had to ask 2-3 times for coffee refills, toast (that was never delivered), check, etc. Think the "good-ol'-girl" network perpetuates the idea that this is a good place... more

Our lunch at Myrtie Mae's was just average. We had sandwiches and the soup/salad bar. I didn't think the salad bar was anything special, but it certainly helped to boost the nutritional value of the menu offerings, which were mostly either fried or just plain old run of the mill sandwiches. I was hoping for something a little more unique... more

Great food! They have a huge salad bar with lots of variety. And it's very afforadable (around $6). The dinner menu is a little short on offerings; but was good nonetheless. I had the chicken fry steak with mashed potatoes and was quite full. the mashed potaotes were excellent. they also offer a lunch buffet on tuesday and thrusday afternoons.... more

I'm a big fan of Myrtie Mae's. They have a good menu, a very fresh and tasty soup and salad bar, and good home style American food. I can see why the place is popular with locals. It is a good value, terrific service and quality food. Highly recommended for just about anyone visiting. more

Myrtie Mae's is an exellent place for any meal with a great selection on the salad bar. The soups are delicious, the fried chicken great and the bacon wrapped chicken livers are devine. The Rueben sandwiches can't be beat! Myrtie Mae's has been the location of many family get togethers, birthdays and just good meals. We eat there every week... more

Friendly and helpful staff. Great down home food with ample portions and fair prices. Loved the Veggie hashbrowns, which seem to be an area tradition. more
