This place made you feel like you were at home. Love the owner, she was such a sweet and pleasant woman. The food, how can I explain it, Omg, was it ever good. I cant wait to return back to Eureka Springs, just to be able to eat here again.

I am no connoisseur of German of Czech food so I can't comment on its authenticity, but I did enjoy the experience of eating at this restaurant. The sauerkraut soup was very good, but be warned that it is spicy.

This was the best place we ate in the area. It was busy on a Monday night and the food was amazing. We were stuffed.

Michael was our server, and he was great! Very helpful. The sauerkraut soup was really good, the bratwurst was good, but the jäger schnitzel was nothing special and the apple strudel was bland.

Having lived in Germany for three years as a child, I adore German food. So when I came out to visit my parents, I asked if the German restaurant was still there and open for the season. It was opening the Friday of my visit, so we went Saturday night to celebrate my sister's Birthday. The rye bread they serve... More

Being of German decent we ate some traditional German dishes at all our family dinners. I've also vacationed in Germany. The atmosphere is like stepping into another culture/country. The dinners we ordered varied from "I have never tasted something so good" to "I wish I ordered what you ordered". It's a very family comfortable environment. Roomy, yet cozy. And, as... More

I have eaten there several times, I keep thinking it will get better, but ! Had the duck, now anyone that knows about duck, knows they are fatty, so how they served a real dry duck, not even the brown sauce, beyond me (must be a left over from the day before) The sides were not what I was hopping... Love the Czech/German vibe and the food is really good for the price. Huge portions to satisfy the hungriest appetite. Do yourself a favor and try the sauerkraut soup. I usually pass on the sauerkraut, but this soup is really amazing!

Three of us stopped for dinner abut 6:30PM on a Wensday evening and were seated immediately in a largely empty dining room; several other tables filled shortly after our arrival. The interior furnishings and decorations were storybook Bavarian; nicely done. Our waiter could not have been more helpful or attentive; knowing this was our first visit he strongly suggested the... This is a good little restaurant open from 5 pm to 9 pm each night. I had the sauerkraut soup and my partner had the gravy and dumplins...we were pleased with it all. Recommend this little place!
