Great goulash!

A short drive from our b&b (Heartstone). Off the beaten path but worth it! The goulash was heavenly! Melt-in-your-mouth pot roast. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it!

This was our first time to Eureka Springs and we googled restaurants. We are fond of German food so we tried the Bavarian Inn Restaurant. The restaurant was very clean and nicely decorated. We tried our favorite German entrees and were not disappointed. The waiter was very cheerful and helpful. The room was quiet and comfortable. The restaurant is only... More

Delicious food, wonderful service, great atmosphere & reasonably price for such great quality food. Would highly recommend eating here for something a little different.

Jeff was our server and he was fantastic! So attentive and fun! I don't eat German food but went with friends and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is quaint and has a "special place" kind of feel to it. I had the salmon and it was yummy! My friend had the wiener schnitzel and she loved it, our other friend... More

We had a late lunch and wanted to split our dinners, beware there is a charge for that, but the waitress told us when we ordered so we wouldn't be surprised. My husband wanted to try the sauerkraut soup and I tried the Hungarian plate for appetizers. The soup was not what we expected, it had a bit of rye... More

We had read a few bad reviews and were a bit skeptical about coming here. Silly. It was a great experience. Mike, our server was amazing. Food is family food!!! You almost feel you are with you grandparents! Had the roasted duck and it was excellent! Try the Hungarian red wine! Perfect pairing. :)

The wiener schnitzel was dull. The mashed potatoes and peas and carrots were dull. The potato pancakes were so-so. Only the soup was good.

Limited places to eat in eureka springs on Sunday evening. The sauerkraut soup was ok. The entrees were average and accompanied by non german sides: mashed potatoes carrots and peas. Extra sides like red cabbage are extra. The atmosphere is very german Would recommend if you want an ok meal but don't expect the total german experience

Excellent service from a knowledge waiter, who recommended the sauerkraut soup, which was very good. My wife and I shared the sauerbraten and jaeger schnitzel. Enjoyed a nice German beer, would be nice to have something on draft, only bottles available, but still a good selection. It was quiet. They have a "no cellphone" policy, which I liked. It was... After having been recommended the restaurant, we were not dissapointed.Staff friendly .Decor quite authentic (although not quite sure about the blue and red plastic flowers which tend to dominate the middle of restaurant.) Neuschwanstein Images on walls evoked childhood memories of visits to magical castles growing up in Europe. ...Food was good .Goulash was tasty . Veineschnitzel was good.Maybe some... More
