We stopped in for lunch, I got the soup and sandwich combo, my husband got the hotdog combo. The potato soup was really good! The owner stopped by all the tables to make sure everyone enjoyed their meal. Super nice people!

This is a must while in town! We are repeat patrons and tell everyone we know to stop by and enjoy. Closed on Sunday.

With a group of big eaters, we found Grandma's Beans a good casual place to eat. The beans were almost as good as what mom used to cook. I could eat the corn bread and butter all day.

Average food, but good. People friendly. Place seemed clean. Average price. Would eat there again. Walking distance from hotel.

A counter service restaurant. Not very friendly staff and seemed to get upset with us because they had gotten our order wrong, poor food. Paper plates and plastic silverware and plastic Christmas cups and over priced for what little we got. It's never good when you leave a restaurant hungry. Cob webs hanging from the ceiling.

Good cornbread and beans, would have been GREAT if it had some ham in it and there was some syrup available.

Chicken and dumplings with cornbread / hotdog / beans and cornbread. These are the things we tried and all was good but the dog my grandson complained that the bread was hard. I ate dumplings with cornbread and if I could have changed anything it would have been the cornbread ( traditional) to a sweet cornbread. The place has a... More

If you are looking for a very casual place for a good down home bowl of beans, this won't disappoint you. The white beans are very good, better than the pintos in my opinion. I wasn't impressed with the cornbread much, it was a bit dry. I like my cornbread moist and a little bit sweet. I don't recommend the... More

The beans and cornbread are really just like Grandma's. Friendly and helpful staff serve up home cooking. The blackberry cobbler with ice cream is a "must"!

Richard was so good at explaining the menu to us. We had never eaten there and he went over with us what all they offered. We ordered the beans and cornbread and my husband had the chicken salad sandwich and white navy beans. My husband was talking about the chicken salad later in the day! I have to say I... More
