Not fancy, but food is consistently good.

A friend and I went here for lunch on a weekday. I paid for our meals that we selected from the lunch menu and it was very reasonable. It's not Cordon Bleu, but the food is good and plentiful.

After traveling for several days and eating fast food, came across Dixie Cafe. Had chicken fried steak off lunch menu. Price was excellent, tea was delicious. Service was outstanding. Highly recommend.

We were traveling and tired and looking for some good comfort food that was not a fast food chain. It was a bit past the busy hours so the restaurant was not packed. We walked in and waited to be seated...and waited....and waited, went to the restroom and came back and waited some more - at least 15 minutes in... More

We went in there because it was close to our hotel. All we wanted was a little soup. We had the chicken and dumplings soup which was really good. Then they wanted to give us dessert for free! Unfortunately we were full from the biscuits and soup so they gave us a coupon for next time. Wow! The wait staff... More

Stopped here for lunch on way to Memphis. Easy to get to and from highway. Food was pretty good and served quickly, and we finished it quickly. I liked the okra! Service a little mediocre. Value was fine. It was a good, expedient place to stop at.

We ate lunch at this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the good food! The baked squash was the best I have ever had out before and the meatloaf was perfect. The service was fantastic...we will eat here again when we are in town!

We've had good ice cream treats at other Dixie Café locations and decided to stop for banana splits in Conway. The dips of ice cream were so small, you could barely see them under the banana (yes, UNDER the banana)! It tasted good but I'd like to see the baby-sized scoop they used. In Conway for an overnight and slipped into the Dixie Cafe for a comfort food supper. It was lovely, comfortable and exactly as I had hoped it would be. Ample parking out front. Inside finds several sections of booth and table seating. Entree was done to perfection and I found my veggie items just like Grandma would have made them.... More

My 9 yr old loves Dixie, even says their green beans are better than grandma's, so we eat there at least once/month. He always gets the kid's chicken strips.
