We stopped here for a quick bite on our way through town. We were seated immediately. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We ordered sandwiches so it would be quicker. The sliced brisket was flavorful and was complimented well by the sauce. The pulled pork was cooked perfectly. The baked beans had very fresh flavors. The music put you... More

A good place to go for some good bar-be-que! Brisket or ribs or anything else, it is all good. The place offers takeout as well as dining in. Good Delta Blues are playing all day to put me the mood for sum' ribs!!!!

All of their barbecue is good, but skip the cold slaw. If you are looking for a good, quick lunch, this the place. Decor is NOT, and it is VERY, VERY loud. Maybe just think about take out. Excellent selection of sauces.

1st time at Hog Pen. I ordered 1/2 slab of ribs and cole slaw. The rub and char was perfect, and I had to slow myself down to enjoy it all the more. Their sauce is vinegar based and great for dipping. But the ribs stand alone as really really REALLY good! I talked to the owners wife, hubby was... More

Melt-in-your-mouth meaty ribs, full-of-flavor chopped beef sandwich, tangy coleslaw and sweet baked beans made this one of the best BBQ meals I've had in years. And with the current 15th anniversary celebration, for 15 cents we got to try their amazing chocolate cake and strawberry cake. Sadly only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday, if you have a chance to eat... More

The BEST ribs I have ever had! My fiancé and I were driving through town and came across this restaurant for a late lunch and it was the highlight of our day! The Blues music in the background and Edison lights set a wonderful, relaxing tone and for our meal. We had wonderful service and conversation with the staff- everyone... More

Must have gotten the wrong thing. Ordered the pulled pork sandwich and okra. The sandwich had so much sugary sauce on it that you could not taste the pork, the okra tasted like the pre breaded frozen type. The service was bad, I ran out of my drink before I was half way finished with my meal and it was... More

Ribs are better than average, service bad, sweet tea bad too. Sides were ok. Very large hog statue outside that the kids thought was cool.
