Went here more by accident-saw the crowded lot at 11:30 so I went. Really good brisket and good ribs. Fast impersonal service I want to go back

Had a wonderful lunch for two. The rib and catfish platter for $14.99 was perfect for my wife and I. 4 delicious smoked barbecue ribs with 4 generous thick catfish filets with 2 sides Texas toast. Save room for the home made fried pies Ala mode of course. Felicity was a great waitress.

We stopped by here on the way to Memphis. Just saw the signs and googled it. The reviews were great. I decided on the catfish and it was great. The coleslaw was even better. I also tried their coconut fried pied and really liked it too. The only thing I would improve on is the tarter sauce. I usually like... More

Trip Advisor reviewers nailed this. We expected friendly service, good smoky BBQ, home cooking, no frills. And that's exactly what we got, at surprisingly low prices. This is just the kind of place we love to find on our road trips. Warning: it's located in a dry county so iced tea or lemonade will have to suffice.

Lots of pickups in the parking lot. Lots of solidly built, working-class-type guys heading inside for a filling lunch. Pretty sure we were in for another good meal here. Just like the last time we visited a few years earlier. My chopped pork platter ($7.99), with slaw and fried okra, was spot-on good. The smoky and tender meat was well... More

What a great place to pull over on the long lonesome highway. Folks, if its dinner time and your near Nick's you have to stop and try the ribs or fried catfish, the best and the people are very friendly too. Don't forget to order the pecan pie that grandma bakes herself, yum yum

We drive a truck for a living. We always stop whenever we are in the area. The staff is friendly and helpful. Service is always prompt. Absolutely love the catfish. The ribs are very smoky and tender. Dry rubbed seasoned. Excellent desserts

I always take a quick look at previous reviews to get warmed up. Often there is a wide range of opinions and observations, but sometimes, like at Nicks, they are all pretty much the same. It makes me sad when my review is going to be right in line with everyone else's, because i like to be able to add... More

This well used, local little restaurant provides a good meal and friendly service. We stopped during the lunch hour. Many cars and trucks with out of state plates and local Arkansas tags filled the lot. We first heard about this place a few years ago. Last time we passed it by because it looked a little questionable. Glad we stopped... More
