We're traveling from the Memphis area to Hot Springs and stopped for lunch to go as we're in a motorhome. I had the catfish and shrimp combo with fried okra that was fresh, crispy, not greasy and wonderful flavors! My husband had the pulled pork sandwich with beans and slaw and thought it was very tasty as well. This is... More

My husband and I came here with our two very young children on the way home from a road trip. We live in Arkansas and eat quite a bit of catfish, but he and I both agree this place is by far the best. The service was wonderful and the food can't be beat. GREAT place.

I've had BBQ all over the south. And to be truthful, Nick's is not the best I've had, by any means. But, they are pretty consistently good. I've eaten the bbq here several times in the past, but it was time to satisfy my yearly catfish craving. I believe their catfish to be better than the bbq anyways. And today,... More

Found this place by the billboards heading west on I-40 and decided we all wanted BBQ for lunch. When we pulled into the parking lot, we found a bunch of cars and a ton of big trucks parked in back. Knowing drivers don't tolerate crappy food helped us make the final decision. We were seated quickly and offered sweet tea,... More

I rarely give 5 stars but Nick's deserves it. The BBQ was phenomenal and the service was even better. Had brisket and shrimp (BTW the shrimp were beautifully fried). Beans are as good as can be, I had the sweet tea and they even give you a to go of it for free. If you are in Arkansas and anywhere... More

We stopped here when traveling I-40. The food was good. I'm not typically a fan of fried green tomatoes, but these were served with a side of good ranch ( not the bottled stuff) and were really yummy!

We had been stuck in construction traffic jams and needed to eat. We'd seen their billboard and decided to take a chance, rather than stick with the tried and true (fried and true???) fast foods. We were very impressed with this restaurant. It was quite busy and clearly the clientele were the locals, who would know that this was a... More

My husband and I have been here several times and each time we have really enjoyed the food and felt like it is a great meal with a reasonable price. We love that you have truck parking because we are owner operators and it is difficult to find good food with truck parking. This visit was exceptional because the service... More

Went here more by accident-saw the crowded lot at 11:30 so I went. Really good brisket and good ribs. Fast impersonal service I want to go back

Had a wonderful lunch for two. The rib and catfish platter for $14.99 was perfect for my wife and I. 4 delicious smoked barbecue ribs with 4 generous thick catfish filets with 2 sides Texas toast. Save room for the home made fried pies Ala mode of course. Felicity was a great waitress.
