Nice place for couples

This is a very nice restaurant for an evening out and a good meal as well. Plenty of options on the menu and good food to boot. One of the best places in the area to take your date. Service and the ambiance are always on spot. Highly recommend this place.

Don't get me wrong, the food here isn't "cheap," but having worked for a fine dining restaurant on a lake south of KC, this is an amazing value for such quality food. Great, friendly service. Ate the baked Brie and seafood Alfredo with scallops and shrimp for lunch, glad we got here before the peak season because this place will... More

Four of us on a fishing trip had dinner at Club 187 based on a local's recommendation. Entryway was dark and hostess stand was unattended. The hostess did find us waiting and seated us. The dining room was nice, white table cloths, and nicely decorated. The waiter had very little personality and seemed to just be about getting our order... More

When you are secluded in a rural area with family and want to go out for a good meal in a local venue - this is the place!! After a morning of fishing on the White River our family reunion group was ready for a meal out and a drive around the area. The food here was very good and... More

We have been coming here since we moved from Chicago. We spent our 5th New Years Eve at 178 (12/31/14) Our waiter "Ted" is always the best. Crab cakes were just luke warm the Bisque was good, the salad was just a handful of chopped romaine with a flavorless dressing. My wife's Sirloin(?) was very tough. My filet was excellent. The... Had dinner here with my family. We where all very satisfied with our meals. I had the sirloin and it was great. The service is great in a very relaxing atmosphere. I can't remember exactly what they called the desert. Something with white chocolate and orange. It was awesome!!!

I have lived in this area for almost five years and Club 178 is still the best restaurant in the whole Mountain Home, Arkansas area by far! I am treated like family on every visit and always escorted to my "regular" table (with my "special" chair). The staff is extra friendly and I have NEVER been disappointed by the quality,... More

Our fishing guide, Jonce Trimble suggested we try this place. What surprise!! Great atmosphere and fantastic food. Best fired mushrooms ever! I had fried walleye and my wife had steak. Both were perfect!

Have eaten here since 1988 and have never had a bad meal! Love, love the Sunday brunch. Everything is homemade, including the pastry tray. NO pasty, white glue-for-gravy made from a mix. Gravy is made from scratch and is delicious! Homemade pecan caramel sauce for waffles is incredible. The Friday night fish is excellent.

My family really enjoyed their meal here. I was skeptical about gluten free dining but the staff was able to accommodate me. Give it a try.
