We stopped here after seeing all the highway signs....and although it is a huge buffet, the food is only mediocre. Almost everything tastes frozen or like it came from a can. It is basically "help yourself" so service is not really a factor. We were there during a busy time so some items were out or very low. The only... More

This a supper buffet with plenty to eat for whatever you are hungry for. You can watch your diet eating here just leave off the fried meats and deserts. We did great there and enjoyed the country store as well. On our way from Branson we always have our noon meal there on our way home.

We stopped on a road trip after seeing signs on the highway, and I thought it looked interesting. (It's hard to get me to spontaneously deviate from my planned route). We browsed the store first. It was nothing special, except for the chocolate counter where we bought some assorted chocolates. We decided to stay for lunch. It's a buffet, and... More

BACKGROUND Road stop for lunch during a family trip from Kentucky to Texas. Mom & Dad, 14 year old son, 11 year old daughter. OVERALL A restaurant/country store combination establishment erythromycin much in the style of Cracker Barrel. Buffet line self service. Food quality varied. Restaurant was very crowded on a Saturday, and the store was very tourist oriented with... More

Even though I live close by, I haven't been in a year--not much of a fried food fan plus it's certainly not good on any kind of diet plan. But it is a treat to go here when you are craving that type of food. The fried chicken and fried fish were delicious! I wasn't a big fan of the... More

Browns is a neat little place right off the interstate. I have only eaten there once and it was good for Southern food which I am not used to having where I am from. They have a large variety of entrees and desserts. The fried green tomatoes were the most memorable! The store is the best part though! My family... More

Great food, okay ambience. It can be loud at times, but the food selection is awesome. $10.99 for dinner, it's cheap and good.I love fried food, and I love buffets, Its a good thing this is not close to my house or I'll be in trouble. Anything from fried fish, to fried green tomatoes, and fried chicken. to the dessert... More

So disappointed. My family use to travel through Benton frequently in the early 90's and this was our favorite stop. But 10-12 years have incurred many changes and not good ones. They advertise country cooking but the beautiful Mac- cheese was not real cheese, They have loads of seasoned canned vegetables. Everything was blah and tasteless. The plated pies and... More

I LOVED this place!!! Best buffet I have ever seen!!!! I think it was only $10 a person also, if I remember correctly, and if you left hungry after paying that, you were having an issue!! You think of it, it was there!!! I wanted to try everything that was there, and I just didn't have room on my plate!!!!... More
