While the food is no better than average for small town steakhouses around the country, Jack & Rosie's does some things that make the restaurant memorable and worth visiting, such as, soup and salad with each meal. Try the Rosie's salad dressing, an interesting combination of French and Blue Cheese dressing. The salads have the best and freshest iceberg lettuce... More

This gem of a find was recommend by the staff at our hotel. It is off the beaten track but don't be put off by the outside appearance as inside you will find a warm welcome and the best steak you have ever had.

A friend and I recently worked in Yuma on two different occasions and it became our mission to discover the best steak in town. We tried several great restaurants then finally on my last trip and the very last night in Yuma, we hit the jackpot. I will be honest with you I thought about turning around on the way... More

I eat here a lot. The servers are well trained and the steaks are GREAT. I usually order the filet. Occasionally I order the ribs and they are good also. I recommend the the twice baked potatoes. The restaurant is off the beaten path right in the middle of a residential neighborhood. I compare the quality of food to Flemmings... More

This has been an old favorite of myself and my coworkers when we travel to Yuma on business (which is frequent). We had heard rumors that it had gone downhill recently, but our experience on this occasion was consistent with our previous dining experiences here, and all walked way quite satisfied. The atmosphere is old school bar and grill, think... More

this place was old and nasty looking. Food to expensive 4 the crappy quality. The owner just sits and gets drunk at the bar while her employees ignore the customers.. there also was a cockroach in the bathroom. I told the employee and she just said ok..before I left I went 2 c if they removed it..no it was still... More

I went to Jack and Rosie's this past weekend with my family and a couple of friends with their family as well. None of us had ever been there before but we went because I had heard that they had the "BEST" steak in town. People make a big deal about of this place. After my experience this past weekend,... Family of 9 came in to celebrate my Mother's 70th birthday. We didn't see any appetizers on the menu but on the table when we arrived was a salsa, pickled jalapenos and saltine crackers. We weren't quite sure what to do with those. Bread, cup of soup and salad came with dinner, the bread was toasted with parmesan and garlic... More

On a recent trip to Yuma we Ran to dinner here because of a memorable old fashioned medium rare NY steak dinner five years ago. Alas, it did NOT live up to the memory. Large NY steak was half edible with lots of fat and gristle. At $25 per meal, the best part was the salad and bread. The double... More

...but they only let you get one! Oh well, the steak is pretty good, too. This place is cool because this is an authentic old-desert upscale restaurant- the kind that was everywhere in the 50's, 60's, and then here and there in the 70's. What I mean is: they don't try to be trendy, they don't plaster the walls with... More
