Stopped here to meet a local friend for dinner. had the meatloaf dinner, a BLT, the roast beef sand and two burgers; there were five of us. Place was clean food was really good and failry priced. Reminded me of the Studio Diner in San Diego. Penny's is a great 50's style diner with friendly service, good food and a... More

I reside in Australia and was in the states (mainly LV & LA) on a business/leisure trip. So I was planning a road trip from Vegas back to LA and asked my local friends' opinions on "cool" places and restaurants to visit. I must say that I never felt luckier for asking people's opinion; although been to Penny's only once,... More

Last time I ate here, I went with my brother. I live in Yuma and for anyone traveling and visiting I must say, this is one of the places you must eat while in Yuma. Their menu is awesome and the chocolate with whip cream is off the hook. Great service makes it A+. I only wish it was bigger,... More

Nice 50's style diner with a fairly extensive menu. The owner greeted most of the customers. Servers were very courteous and efficient.

We stopped here for brunch on our way from LA to Las Vegas and enjoyed it so much we stopped again on our way back two days later!! The welcome was very warm and the diner epitomised everything us Brits imagine of a traditional US eatery. Our boys loved the milkshakes and the novelty of being allowed to graffiti the... More

Penny's was tasty for a late night snack. They have hand dipped shakes and malts that are pretty good. Most of the food tastes like it comes from the freezer though. Overall a good experience

The Oak Tree Motel offers free breakfast coupons for this diner. It was a great place to eat breakfast. Has a 50's/60's theme going, not too many booths or seats so getting there early is a plus. The food is prepared fresh, quick and is quite tasty. Would definitely eat there on the next visit.

We sort of wondered why there was only a few couples there on Saturday night around supper time. We stayed and ordered. Hubby had chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and I had meatloaf with mashed. The salads came quickly enough and had packaged dressings. Okay!! As I was watching the cooks behind the counter,I noticed my meatloaf and instant... More
