I think place is a little overrated. They are actually kind of pricey for the small amount of food you get. The place always looks like it needs a good scrub down.

Old 50s diner look and feel. Nice stop for a breakfast. Not much outstanding, but pleasant. Fast coffee refreshes, and fast preparation of my breakfast. It definitely has a solid following of customers. Many customers were familiar with the waitstaff. It's part of Yuma's history. Interactions with the waitstaff was pleasant, and they provided cheery service.

A great breakfast spot where the locals meet for breakfast. Great selections.....good ol' down home cooking....Hot coffee.....fast service.....sit by the window and watch the world go by. We always eat here when in town. Reminds us of a better time....the " good old days" when people spoke at meals and smiled, looked around and smelled the coffee.

My first time eating at Brownie's. I had breakfast there, it is not a major chain restaurant. My friend recommended it as one of her favorite breaskfast places to eat. We had breakfast - it was very good, it was plenty and the service was fast. If I'm in Yuma - I would go there again!

We have eaten here many times for both breakfast and for a late lunch. Both are always good but never great, which is why we go there on occasion because the food is always good and the coffee is always hot, which is how we all like our coffee.

Sadly Brownies has been taking a turn for the worse, not quite on life support but certainly needs to be sent to the rehabilitation center. Some much of the food now tastes like it's just frozen and reheated. They used to have the best biscuits and gravy but the gravy resembles white paste with no flavor. The hot beef sandwich... More

Brownies offers a good location, good home cooked food, and lots of it, and reasonable prices. They are located on 4th Ave a few blocks north of 16th street. It's not fancy so forget about how many "stars" it rates. It's a good place for breakfast or lunch.

Reminds me of an older hometown diner, worn booths, chipped cups and all. Food was good basic diner fair, but I didn't think it was as good or as bad as other have. Everyone got filled up and enjoyed their food. Waitress was very busy but friendly enough. Atmosphere was a bit chaotic and quite noisy, perhaps that's the 40's... More

We had lunch in this friendly diner, popular with locals. The salads were crisp and and fresh. The service was efficient and we loved the atmosphere.

01/09/13 Stopped by Brownies for lunch. I did not really want to but my two friends picked the place. I did not really think the food was that great. The country fried steak was fare but the mash potatoes were watered down and made from powder. You could almost pour it like gravy. The last time I was in there... More
