While traveling through Yuma to visit friends, we returned to this quite lovely garden setting, complete with an aviary and birdsong. However, I needed to use wi-fi to let our friends know our progress on the road and the staff had to tell me that 'there is wi-fi, but the owner will not let you use it.' I begged and... More

we love the restaurant, but if it is windy all the food on the buffet is cold.........nothing is worse than cold food, the service is good and the people are great, but if your meat and eggs are cold, that is not a good thing, they are a little high for breakbast, but the location and people are worth it....

Even if you start by using your GPS this restaurant is going to be hard to find. In the middle of the block and behind some small shops down a walkway it's not an easy place to find, but well worth it. Enough people know about it, however that reservations are a good idea. The outdoor dining area, most tables... More

The garden atmosphere is wonderful and my food (tortilla soup, which comes with beans and a tortilla) was amazing. I had no idea a spot like this existed in Yuma! I'm knocking off a star because I do feel like the service was strange....the lady in front of me to be seated was sort of given a snub because she... More

The Garden Cafe is a wonderfully tucked away restaurant with a beautiful garden setting, lovely birds, both caged and wild. The food is well prepared and excellent in flavor. I highly recommend the tortilla soup, a specialty. What impressed us the most was the service. Our elderly godmother is in a wheelchair and would not have been able to get... More

OK, full disclosure: My cousin's own the place, but seriously, this is a nice place for an outdoor breakfast, lunch or just a coffee. The surroundings are wonderful. It is built in the back of historic buildings and gardens. There are really nice old trees and bird cages. The food is very good. You have to try the tortilla soup,... More

Wind your way through the shopping boutiques to the far back and find the Garden Cafe. It is shady and in a garden, so was heated by petroleum heaters on this cool December day. The service was good and the food was better than most. It was, though, expensive for lunch. It capitalizes on its cute atmosphere and caters to... More

We and some friends enjoyed Sunday brunch at the Garden. The food was very good and the service great. We have always enjoyed the garden Café and have never been disappointed.

A bit hidden away, Garden Cafe is a nice find. It seems like they are busy, and reservations are needed. They seem a bit 'exclusive' and insincere. I feel they cater mostly to the winter visitors and less to local people. I did enjoy my sandwich and the outdoor seating. It could be a special place to bring someone visiting... More
