Little Treasure in Yuma!

Really love to stop in for lunch on occasion at this little German treasure! Had the special of bratwursts and sides today. All delicious! Topped it off with Black Forest Cake that was yummy! Oh...the German beer is great too!

Ordered a sandwich. They put in two slices of very thin slices meat. We had to wait along time to be served. I'm not a real fan of German food anyway, and this didn't help change my mind. My wife had a regular entree, she didn't like what she had either.

Food was delicious - the real deal, not like that found in a German chain restaurant. The pretzels flown in from Bavaria were an amazing appetizer. All five of our meals were perfect. The sides that came with the meals were varied and very German in flavor and texture. The desserts were mouth watering and huge, easily shared by several... More

only open in the winter. I normally do not support places that do not stay open all year. But was invited to dinner here by some friends. Very good food and fun waiters

Food was excellent, just like Mom used to make! Staff was very pleasant and truly seemed appreciative for each customer.

Last year the Reuben we purchased was very good, the meat was about 1/2 inch thick. This time it was ONLY three thin slices. My wife and I usually share our lunch sandwiches and when I asked for an extra plate, I was told by the owner(?) it would be $2.00 extra. The potato salad was NOT German Potato Salad,... More

We have been there twice and it was excellent. After living 18 yrs in Germany, it's difficult to find authentic German food in the USA. Last time we were there we had Schweine-Haxen (24 hr. pre-order necessary); a real treat which was very good and hard to find, even in Germany.

We had been in twice about a year ago and it was just as good! We made a reservation for a "better" table and got it! The only disappointment was they no longer serve the Apple Kuchen; we were so hunger for it!

The best part of this experience wasn't the food. Everything had a German touch to it. The decor, the costumed waitresses and the accordian player made it seem like an authentic eatery in old Germany. Our waitress was perky, efficient and very helpful. All that after a day of teaching 1st graders!!!! The food was fine but not the star... More
