This is the best place in Yuma to eat, not much to look at but the food is great. I have been eating at this place sense 2002, with no issues
I just don't know what happened to the Pepe's on 8th Street. When they first opened, it was great. But over the last couple of years it has gone from so-so to downright "I can't eat this!". And dirty? Ew! Several tables never got cleaned in the entire 45 minutes we were there. I guess that was okay, in a... More
we eat out alot and mexican food in yuma is good, but the service and the restaurant were lacking in being clean and know how to handle customers,,,probably will not go back.........
They have 2 locations, but Dad lives closer to the Foothills branch. Not much in location and small, but the food makes up for it! Love their chips and salsa and the Pepe's Special is my fave while my Dad loves their mexican soups! Don't expect atmosphere, but their food is great and the owner is very friendly!
I ordered the fajitas, and they were average. The margarita was too sweet for my taste. It's a shame because I've heard so many good things about the food here. Maybe I just need to try a different entre... But I thought it was average. Definetly a hole-in-the-wall kind of place. The service was great though.
We met friends for lunch who recommeded this restaurant. Its small and has outdoor seating. 3 of us had the daily special of Green Chili with rice & beans and 1 had the red chilli burrito. We all loved the food. The place is hidden on the side of the shopping center behind Del Sol Therapy. We will definetly go... More
I agree the place needs to be cleaned up. We were seated at a table that certainly needed to be cleaned from the last set of patrons. That instantly brought their rating down!! The food was good when it finally arrived. The place was relatively busy and possibly short staffed... It took almost 2 hours for supper, and there was... More
I have tried many mexican food restaurants in Arizona and New Mexico and this is in my top 5 for flavor, portions and priced more reasonable than many places. Parking is a challenge but who cares once you eat the food.
I do visit this restaurant very often. I love its food and the environment. Although they offer a great variety of food, I do prefer to order Mexican food. Chiles rellenos, Carne Tampiquena, and Caldo de res are my favorites. The pozole is also one of the best in town. Pepe's welcomes you with a plate full of totopos and... More
