Stopped to stay at La Posada in Winslow Az which is a treat by itself. The TurquoiseRoom is a separate entity in the Hotel and has a well known chef who has been serving travelers for 14yrs. The Heirloom Salad was one of the best I have had and the portion was plenty for two of us. All the entries... More

We were looking forward to our meal in The Turquoise Room after reading so many great reviews and we have to agree - we thought it was outstanding. We loved La Posada Hotel and to have such a fantastic restaurant as well made it a great place to stay. We loved everything about the restaurant, from the brightly coloured placemats... More

This was a top class dining experience. A lovely restaurant, impeccable service and superb food. And it only cost $130 for three of us. The menu focuses on locally sourced food. It was full of unusual and tempting dishes. The standout dish that I had was pikipiki bread (made in the 2nd Mesa) with a houmous made from local grains.... More

You wouldn't expect this quality and variety in Winslow. Dinner was spectacular. Vegetarian platter was most unusual. Breakfast was equally interesting. A bit pricey but well worth it. We have even driven to Winslow just to have lunch there!

I arrived at 8:59 in the Restaurant at a Saturday and wait to be seaten. I get totally ignored from the waitress staff. After nine she ask me, what i want. I say, i want to eat something. She say nothing, i get no reactions, she take some Menuecards and run away. After five Minutes she come back and say... More

This restaurant is in the amazing La Posada Hotel. The restaurant is large and is lacking the ambience of a high class restaurant. However this was the dining room when La Posada was an important railway hotel, so perhaps that is the ambience they wanted when restoring it., They have a really adventurous and exciting dinner menu. We ordered their... More

I'd heard about The Turquoise Room for years, and finally ended up in Winslow after visiting the Petrified Forest. Though La Posada is a gorgeous hotel, the dining room is a big open box, with booths along the wall and large tables in rows in the middle like a cafeteria. That being said, the food was not disappointing. We shared... More

Excellent food, unique offerings. Elk, bison and quail in one entree, fantastic and tasty. Breakfasts are also unique and are amongst my favorite meals here.
