Smoked salmon salad was delicious. Note: Served raw. Combined with carnitas plate for exquisite (albeit expensive) tacos. Worth it for that one in a lifetime visit. Definitely recommend the signature soup. Half white corn, half black bean. Tried my friend's and decided to order it for myself. Delicious eaten separately and swirled together!

We made reservations for dinner and were seated on time. It did take about ten minutes before our waitress arrived, but after that she was fairly fast. When our drinks were brought to the table the waitress also had a basket of different types of bread. That was a pleasant surprise and we really enjoyed sampling the different types. My... More

We are from New Mexico and prefer NM food to Mexican food but this was good--especially for the money. I got a tamale plate which was more than I could eat--then out came a BASKET of sopapillas! I ate one. Good food. Not fancy.

We ended here three times and were very happy each time. The squash blossom appetizer is incredible.

The food was good. We ate breakfast here. I thought it was expensive. I don't mind spending $$ for a good dinner, but for eggs , potatoes & toast -- not so much.

Try the stuffed squash blossoms! They must have an award winning chef because dinner and breakfast were exceptional; and without the price! The dishes were professionally plated and presented. The waitresses were so friendly. Hi Erin !

We only get to enjoy this restaurant once a year but we make sure to plan a visit here as the food and service is outstanding. We love the fresh local flavors, the wild game offerings and the amazing triple chocolate souffle. The fantastic corn bread is only served at lunch. Also try the Piki bread. Local Navajo treat that... More

Given the reviews of this place on tripadvisor, I would have thought that Winslow, AZ was a hot spot. There is. nothing. there. period. So, it was particularly shocking when I came across la posada hotel in the middle of "town." I have no idea who actually stays here, unless folks are driving across country or are stopping from a... Crispy quail, elk steak, and bison was billed as the evening's "Wild, Wild" special. And it was delicious.

Based on all the wonderful reviews we had very high expectations. We had three meals - two breakfasts and one dinner during our stay. The breakfasts and service were excellent. Dinner however was a bit of a challenge. Our waitperson was very inexperienced as she announced on arrival to our table. Despite her being delightful and entertaining small service issues... More
