Historic building with excellent food and margueritas

I had the churro lamb posole that was nicely flavored and a Route 66 Marguerita. Both were outstanding and the service was excellent. i enjoyed the atmosphere and the building decor. Highly recommend!

First of all, i have to say that i heard a whole lot of great things about this restaurant, so i decided to take a day offf and made the trip to Winslow (rrible...got it), and this was one of the biggest let down ever ! We were told to make a reservation at 7.30, due to heavy business, as... More

We were on an epic journey across the US on Route 66 and had heard about the legendary Winslow, Arizona for as long as I can remember listening to the Eagles and Jackson Browne! So although we weren't staying at the famed La Posada Hotel, we had been told we HAD to eat dinner there - which we were thrilled... More

This was my 5th stay at La Posada and dining at the Turq Room. Let me say that the breakfasts are outstanding and well priced. Dinners?? Over-priced overwrought heavy entrees. This chef has never met a carb he didn't like. I ordered the vegetarian dinner and it was basically inedible. Came at room temp and the veggies weren't nearly cooked... More

This is the restaurant inside La Posado. Atmosphere and service were great. Food presentation was very good; however, the actual taste was only fair to good. Given the cost, it should have been excellent.

Loved the service and the food, great place to try even if you don't stay at the Hotel! We stayed at the hotel and loved that also.

On a Route 66 trip, we stopped to admire the restoration of the last of the Fred Harvey hotels along the Santa Fe. My father splurged to take us once on the Super Chief to Chicago, dining in the Turquoise Room on wheels when I was eight - and I hold pleasant memories of that experience. Today's version in Winslow... More

Once you are in La Posada you won't want to leave the grounds. Luckily the Turquoise Room has excellent food. Try the pork carnitas.

We enjoyed the food and service. Ate 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts in the Turquoise Room. We would go back just for the restaurant and ambience.

Had the dinner and were quite blown away by it. The elk was very well prepared, a few pieces were a bit gamey but a really nice taste. Appetizer salads were delicious and the special bread that is made on the local reservation was quite unusual and extremely tasty. Chocolate souffle was top notch. We loved our server and stopped...
