What a hoot!

Had lunch at this cafe. Very local and very good food. Tasty chips with spicy salsa. Crispy tacos on seemingly homemade grilled tortillas. Pepper lights strung around dining room. Very glad we didn't go to Church's fried chicken next door

This is a hole in the wall resteraunt that has been in Winslow 30 plus years. Every time we went to visit family we would go there. I'm particularly fond of their Tacos, deep fried goodness. Their Navaho tacos and enchiladas are also great. Sadly do not know when I will go back, but if I do I will always... More

After checking into our hotel, we went searching for a place to have dinner. It was seven PM, so naturally the entire town was closed. That is with the exception of a little greasy spoon called 'The Brown Mug'. Dirty and cluttered, it boasted an unkempt, seventies motif with remodeling efforts through the years that consisted of duct tape and... More

Ate here since it was so close to our hotel. Quick, friendly service and the portions are huge. My wife likes her order but mine was bland. Very inexpensive for the portion size.

Actual home made Mexican food family owned for over 50 years. The best tacos you will ever have any where, the special burrito is always a favorite. They make a home made burger with fries for those that do not want Mexican food. The fajitas are very tasty and the chips and salsa are out of this world. All of... More

The chips were fresh & just right - the salsa was just spicy enough. Great starters for a large taco salad with a perfect bowl shell. I am going back tomorrow to try the sopapillias

If you like your food greasy, then you'll love it. The last two times we ate there, we were sick afterward.

Yum! My belly is very happy! My friend and I stopped in Winslow for the night and this restaurant had good reviews and it was open until 9 p.m. It is a little hole in the wall that we both enjoyed. I got the red chili with beans and I just loved it! My friend got the combo plate and... More

The Navaho Taco and Taco Salad meals for lunch were spectacular. We've been on the road for longer than four weeks; this was our best meal, period! Congrats to the staff for the friendly atmosphere and relaxed setting. A dining must when you visit Winslow AZ.
