May not look like much from the outside but this cafe serves some of the best Mexican food I've ever had and yes the hot sauce they prepare with the chips before the meal is homemade and hot

We used TA to pick this place. It has a pretty high rank! It is NOT good Mexican food - bland and poorly prepared. Rice, beans, burrito, soup - all were lacking. This may be the circumstance where a chain, fast-food place MIGHT be better.

This is a hole in the wall type place. No ambiance, but friendly service and really good Mexican food. We ate with relatives of friends who live in Winslow, and this is about the only restaurant at which they eat, because of low prices and high quality. Conveniently located across the street from La Posada and more than worth the... More

This Diner was advertised to us as "real Mexican Food." As a "real" Mexican-American, I can assure it is not. The meat in our taco and enchilada plate was a thin patty of what seemed to be a mixture of beef and soy. Tasted like the tacos you get at Jack-in-the Box. The food was okay, the service was good.... This is Mexican Food Diner Decor as real as it gets. It's a working restaurant that's been there a long time for a good reason: they know what they're doing. Real Navajo Tacos -- the best we've had in years. Great folks, friendly, warm and fun. You won't leave hungry.

Very modest, but homemade Mexican. Tasted great and real down home service. We liked it. Not 'fine dining' but better than most.

We were passing through with hungry kids and it was getting late. When we got there, it was obvious that they were getting close to closing but seated us anyway with a smile. All I can say is WOW, what a meal. It was almost more food than we could eat. I've never been served a meal for such a... More

This place was recommended by hotel staff. I was told that it was locally owned and had been there for a long time and you could tell. The restaurant was older and not updated but the food was great.
